Houma was recruited to be a fullback, I still don't understand that move but he might contribute as a short yardage back... to be a fullback he'll need to gain about 40 lbs.

Mattison is really bringing in a lot of defensive talent right now and I think that is kind of limiting the moves that can be made on offense.  Come next year, offense needs to be the priority.

U-M had to go a bit heavy on both lines and at LB for a couple of years to make up for RR's neglect in those areas.  The depth that this staff inherited in those areas was awful thanks to RR's recruiting.  But, going forward, all classes should be all about balance, on both sides of the ball and at all the basic units.  Since a college athlete has limited time as a player, there is always a need to replenish all positions all the time.  I do feel that they have strengthened the offense by focus on the o-line this year, and it looks like this could be a strong WR class as well (hope so; we'll need 1-2 of the WR's to contribute next year).  They weren't going to get a top QB this year given Denard and Gardner already here and Morris coming in next year.  No top recruit would want to walk into that situation.  I do feel they could have done more at RB (can still be addressed with one of the remaining scholly's), and feel that next year we will need to get a top RB recruit or two in here.

DR will still be our QB next year. I think we will see more of DG giving end arounds to DR and the occasional trick play here and there. Grardner will have his certain packages, but I still believe DR will be the full time guy.

I think I will cry after DR last game next year. How can you not love that kid. Hell, when he smiles he makes me smile.....I can only hope the Lions draft him  for some purpose so I can keep smiling for many years to come.

Now i know the coaching staff has not been recruiting him that hard but I just read that Diggs was taking his SAT this week or over the weekend.  Does this mean with a good test score he could actually become a Michigan Man like his boy Blake Countess.  I have know doubt that if he has the grades that Hoke and co. would love to add him in a NSD shockier!!

I may be just wishful thinking but this waiting is killing me.

I have heard some people saying there's at least a small chance of Diggs being in the mix...but I just don't see it. I don't even think he's visited the campus. It would be awesome though.

Diggs down to Florida and the Nutz.  For my sake I hope he goes to the Nutz.  Quote frome him on Twitter is he likes the coaches at Florida better but feels Ohio State is a better fit.

(Paul Tenorio/The Washington Post) - “I want to win a championship, I want to win bowl games,” Stefon Diggs said. “Where else is a better place to do it than your city?”
Best of luck too Diggs, but the statement doesn't correlate to the school. Maryland will never win a National Championship in my lifetime, let alone 4 or 5 years of his. That's what I call a BS statement.

Sounds like he chose to be close to home. (mamas boy) then leave for a team that can actually attain a championship. (Florida, Ohio St)

Nevertheless, best of luck to you and thanks for not choosing OSU and Florida.
