Why the Giants will fail the 2nd half of Season

First of all, the Cowboys are on their heels and they are feeling the pressure of trying to stay one step ahead of the Cowboys (Americas Team).  With two games against the Giants coming up, the Cowboys are in a position to sweep the Giants.

Second, some of the Giants fans are Giant slobs.  Take that one low life classless poster, GLF.  He berates 49'ers fans all week with his anti-gay remarks and homophobic slurs only to have it backfire yesterday as the 9'ers took it to the Giants.  Not only did he fail with his weak sauce smack talk, but he actually has the nerve to start a thread calling 9'ers fans "classless".  What a complete and epic failure of a post.  I'm surprised anyone responded to such stupidity.  He routinely gets OWNED on his own teams' board and today will be no exception.

Third, Eli Manning is playing with smoke and mirrors so far and the true Sheli will make herself seen.  Not to mention that the best NFC East QB had another stellar game yesterday, completing 89% of his passes.  That is the same percentage of failed predictions that Orton4Prez makes every year.

All in all, the Cowboys are back.  The running game is one of the best in town.  The WR core is young and hungry.  The defense might just be the best in the NFC.

The simple answer is becuase they always implode in the second half of seasons.  there was an interesting graphic during the Giants 49ers game that showed that Tom Coughlin has a losing record in the second half of seasons, whilst a .750 (rounded due to memory loss) record in the first half.

This suggests that the coaches have one gameplan and dont change it, or they dont cope well with pressure.  they won a Superbowl riding a hot wave, but I still count that as one of the luckiest wins in history.  Trouble is Eli Manning has made a career of it.  But in some ways thats a good thing as I dont rate him either and we get to play him twice a year.

Manning is having the best season of his career so far, and he's playing at a higher level than your boy Chokey Romo.  Hell, the NYG even looked pretty damn good even in losing to the 49ers last week.
