What if the Browns could offer you RGIII AND another 1st round draft pick in 2013?
I have two scenarios, as a Browns fan I am willing to trade (3) first round draft picks for Luck. How you want to use them would be the risk you take.
a) If you want to be sure and get RGIII, We would need to involve the Rams at #2...
Browns - Get Andrew Luck
Rams get #4 overall and (either #22 overall in 2012 or the Browns 2013 first rounder)
Colts get #2(RGIII) and (either #22 overall in 2012 or the Browns 2013 first rounder)
or b) Colts roll the dice and take all three picks #4 overall 2012, #22 overall 2012 and 2013 Browns 1st round and hope RGIII drops to #4 or use next year's 1st rounders as leverage to get which ever QB you want in next year's draft.
Would any of you be interested in either of these trades?
I think the Colts should've kept the Polians and keep Manning and trade the 1st pick and re-load big time in the draft and go for another super-bowl run with Manning.
Kind of shocked Irsay had the guts to fire Polian. I think it was the correct move I just never thought it would happen. His kid was taking over and he was a horrible talent evaluator. I am glad they made the change. Keeping Manning does not guarentee anything in his present health condition. Draft Luck cut Manning and rebuild.
