SEC vs. Big XII

I looked back over the last 5 years and realized that the Big XII is 4-12 vs the SEC including the losses in the national championship games by Oklahoma and Texas.  I didn't know it was so lopsided until I checked the records!

Not bad, except your data's wrong.

From 2007 to 2011, the Big XII is 5-11 against the SEC, not 4-12.

I looked back over the last 30 years and Georgia hasn't been relevant in college football at all. What a waste of talent. This is the Oklahoma message board turd, not the Big XII message board. Go spout your SEC man-crush on some other board.

Here's what I find really funny.  I went back to 2000 and of the losses, aTM has the record.  0-5 against SEC teams.  No wonder the SEC was dying to get the Ags.  They now become the bottom feeders!


In this century, the teams with the worst records against the SEC:


aTm 0-5No longer in the Big XII
Nebraska 0-2No longer in the Big XII
Colorado 1-2No longer in the Big XII



With the exception of KU (no surprise) and OSU (2-3), everyone else has a .500 or better against the SEC.  So, we got rid of the dead wood, OSU will improve on that record (would have in the NCG if the ES(EC)PN hadn't been scared to face them).  So, the actual heart of the Big XII holds its own very well.

You left off OU's 2-1 record vs Kentucky.  Last loss to the Kentucky Wildcats was Jan. 1, 1951.

It's too bad that the Big 12 and sec only have one match up this bowl season.  Should have been more, if the ESPN/SEC poll had put State where it belonged at number 2.  Thank Coach Satin for voting Stanford #3 and OSU # 4 in the last poll of the season.  What a douch...  I see where one of the CBS preseason look ahead polls for next year, has no one in the Big 12 in the top 10... Interesting, no?  I wonder if LJ coming back will make a difference?  As usual the sec has 5 teams in the top 10.  What an overrated conference.  Now if we could just get about 20 more analysts to go run for political office....

Anyone else notice how power/SEChonk disappears when facts come out?  He can't make a reasonable argument nor can he defend just his team so he hides.  He's a lot like my sixth graders.  He mistakes his opinion for fact.  Kids these days...
