He averages 70 games a season, that is his career average.  He has not played more than 75 games since 05/06 and has only done it 5 times in his career. 

If you throw out last season where he was benched for being a divisive douche bag he averaged 61 games a season over his last three years. 

Health is a concern, to put it mildly.

I am not saying Rip is not going to help this team.  He is an upgrade over Keith Bogans.  A lot of guys are though.  There were and still are better options out there.  Overpaying for players is a bad idea.  The Bulls could and should have spent that 5 million better than they did.  A lot of good players signed for 3 million or under. 

This is the shit**** I cannot stand.  It was obvious that Richard Hamilton was not the answer and they threw away the entire MLE on him, when it was not needed.  Waste of the only 5/3 MLE the Bulls will see.
