4 games and you're calling him a bust? He's on one of the most potent offenses in the game, the likliehood is that he'll turn it around. It's not a definite, but my money would be on it. I don't even have this guy but im waiting for someone to give up on him early so I can grab him.
Bust? Good lord, I mean you drafted him to be a FW3 or a FW4 in a roto league, right? Don't critique the guy as if you're expecting Pau Gasol #s or something. His combo of blocks/rebounds/FG% should make him the guy you were hoping for when you drafted &/or bid on him. Stay the course.
Roller coaster so far, but talent will win out in the end. I still expect him to improve on last year's numbers and be a solid player this year. I use him as a 4th-forward and flex play right now.
How can these CBS clowns say in the SAME sentence "...ranks just 44th in Fantasy scoring so far this year. At this point, he should be considered just a No. 4 Fantasy forward in all formats." ?? If you played in a league that was ALL forwards, a guy who ranked 44th would be a #4 forward. But I'll continue reading these CBS player updates because I need to know what propaganda other team owners are seeing... Also, this IS Ibaka's DOWNSIDE, so imagine the upside.
He'll be a double double guy soon enough. I know he's struggling a little so far, but it's early. Plus he's only 22. Give him a year or two and you could be looking at a 14pt, 12reb, 3bk player that plays solid defense.
Most over-rated player in fantasy hoops? 88% ownership and I can't imagine a situation where I'd want him on either of my teams. Maybe too early to call him a bust, but either way, this guy blows as of today.
Still averaging 2.5 blocks per game, along with 6 rebounds and 50% from the field. That's still valuable in 10 team category based leagues. All he needs is more PT and he will average close to a double double. I expect the numbers to be near last years by seasons end. It's ashame though, I thought he would take a step forward this season.
