I think a lot will depend on how Mayberry Jr. does this year. If he plays well then they will be ok with letting Victorino walk and having an outfield of Brown/Mayberry Jr./Pence but if he doesn't preform then they might need to sign Victorino. If not then they will need to find someone to man center. One thing that is in our favor is the fact that there are so many bullpen arms coming up from AAA that are good and at a min. salary wise.
Lol, guess u missed the thread where i said my return button worked on screen but not when i posted them.. I apologized in advance, but again im sorry, I actually had paragraphs of 4-5 sentences, dunno why she isnt working right..
Yeah, he's insanely hot right now. It's a long season, though. There's no way he keeps this up, and the law of averages state that by returning to the norm, he is very likely to have a not-so-good end of the season. Nobody could have predicted this blazing start for Wright.
I still stand by my statements a few months ago that a trade would have been impossible. The Mets weren't going to sell Wright for 50 cents on the dollar, and to a hated division rival no less. If they kept Reyes, they would have dealt Wright, but they made their choice when they let Reyes sign with the Marlins. Even then, they weren't going to send him to the Phillies.
