And thats how a team goes from DOMINATING the game, to losing momentum and just holding on to the lead. This is such a problem in the NBA. The refs controlling the game. The way the game was going, the Celtics would've probably been up by 20 pts. But the refs stepped in and slowed the game down.
No sense in crying about it now. Even though we lost, I'm satisfied with the performance. I hope this is the Jeff Green we are getting for the next three seasons. Word.

Couldn't have said it better myself. Celts were on their way to a blowout win .. or at the very least a commanding lead by halftime. Instead the REFS took the game over as illustrated above .. I think the Celts had 13 fouls called on em in the 2nd quarter. Stern and his crooked cronie refs will go at any length, blatant or not, to feed the 'cash cow' that is Lebronda and the Meatballs.
The Meat were getting run off the court and the Refs stuck in their noses and grinded the game to all but a halt.
Even on a night when Green goes off and the Celts shoot 54% from the field .. even then they couldn't overcome 5 on 8 ... who could .. no one.
When the calls were called evenly in the 1st quarter, the Celts were blowing out the Meatballs .. YUP ... in the end 26 fouls to 18 tells the story ... the Meatballs were allowed to hack away and the Celts couldn't even breathe in the Meat's direction.
The Meatballs are FRAUDS .. the streak is a FRAUD .. their gifted ring is a FRAUD ... and until they prove they can do it on their own without overwhelming protection from Stern and the Refs, they will NEVER get any respect from any respectable basketball fan, other than the ones with Meat Goggles stuffed up LeBum's rear end .. and those bandwagon tools will be nowhere to be found when LeBronda walks after opting out.

With KG they win in over time, without KG they lose by 2, at home. So yes, it looks like the Celtics need home court to beat the Heat at the moment and they are not going to get. But they are improving. Did you see the first game of the year? This team is far better dispite the loss of Rondo, Sullinger, and Barbosa. Who let this put in?
I'm finally starting to see the heart, that last season's team showed, in this team. They may just be able to hit the playoff switch, yet again. They gave all they had, against Miami. Being without KG, was just too much to overcome. But, I still loved the fight they showed. Particularly when JET got posterized, by LeBron. Most other players wouldn't chance the embarrassment. But JET turned over the ball, so he was going to do whatever he could, to make it right. Too bad there's no stopping LBJ, when he's full steam. But JET took the hit. And every C on the floor, rushed over to pick him up. This team is learning that when they're down for a battle, they can beat any team.
They need another body, I think they ran out of gas. That and the Ref decided to let them play for the last quarter. And, in the second quarter the Refs were trying to keep Miami in the game.
