are you holding a grudge due to the play and results of a character and scheme test (a.k.a. preseason) that you lost?  The Saints tested their blitz packages.  Guess what?  EFFECTIVE!!!!  The 49erstested their offense against it. Guess what?  INEFFECTIVE!!!!
Ha ha Iowa "the silent" saint! Looks like the Saints showed the 49ers all they had in that preseason game and guess what? It DID come back to haunt them!!!! Guess what? Looks like the Saints blitz packages, especially in the last 4 minutes, were INEFFECTIVE!!  And the Niners offense - EFFECTIVE!

Oh, and by the way, I didn't play in that game, therefore I couldn't have lost.

He who laughs last, laughs best.

Enjoy the rest of the playoffs and maybe you should find some American Idol to use as your avatar instead of a legend.

Before you soil your panties pal, there are a few more games for the 49'ers to play, so be careful with celebration. We're gonna be here next week, to remind you if you fail.

There are a few more for the niners... but no more for the Saints this season. We Dat.

In all seriousness great game saints fans. I was there in person and can say that your peoples (few that there were) rep'd you guys well. You just got out gunned by Alex Smith. Drew Brees is an amazing qb and I knew that sproles would be the one to kill us.

We'll see you next year in NO.

This is what happens when a arena football team plays outdoors. Better luck next year, better hope you get the #1 seed. Any road games and you're finished.

Sure you will. And be sure to call me on any ill informed predictions I might make. I noticed by a quick check of your posts that you are not one of the loud mouthed obnoxious clowns that made absolute fools out of themselves and disappeared around 8:15 p.m. CST if not sooner. Congratulations for that.

For the record, the Saints were and are a great team and the last thing I wanted to see as the 49ers lined up for that 3rd down play was setting up for a field goal to send the game into overtime.

It was one of the greatest finishes ever to a playoff game and I celebrated big time, that's right. Almost as good as "The Catch," which I witnessed in person from the other end zone. I had better eyesight then than I do now, so I saw Clark break free and screamed "He's OPENNNNNNNNNN!"

Ok, my eyesight was better, and probably my memory was better then, too!

That depends upon one's definition of 'better'.  Fewer turnovers (1 vs. 3), yes.  More productive? No.

The SF defense and special teams were better, which is why the SF offense was the beneficiary of five turnovers.  The SF offense mustered only 13 points off those, but that proved to be enough to keep the 49ers in the game.

Anyway, it's history and after the fact.
