In ... what? ... the last 10 years or so we're 2-4 at home in the playoffs?
We were 8-0 at home this regular season.
The Packers need to get on a roll here in the playoffs that beats teams regularly (always?) at home. Green Bay needs to be a scary place to come to for the playoffs. Just being a home team is no advantage in the playoffs. Being at home in a place few teams visit and win ... now that's an advantage. If it's pride or execution or talent a combination of all ... Green Bay needs to be a house of horrors for all playoff visiting teams.
THEN home field advantage is something to play for.
Just MHO ... ... ... ... oh, and tank a few games so you can "stay sharp" during wildcard weekend rather than "suffer" through a bye? Are you joking here or just stupid?
Well It was sarcasim, anyone who thinks it is better to loose enough to be a wild card is not thinking straight. So it would be better to have the bye. That is really the question here. Is the bye a good thing, well if win enough games you get a bye, so yes it is a good thing.
You always play for to get home field because you play to win. What kind of moron would not play for home field.
