Ryan Grant let the ball slip out? Did you see the Giants defender knock it out with his hand? That's just great tackling, the Rodgers fumble was a typical Giants sack/FF, Giants got robbed of the Jennings fumble too. What defense could rip the ball as good as the Giants on Sunday? The Pack didn't play well, and that's sad for you but give credit where credit is due, the Giants D-line was getting into the backfield ALL DAY.

Last time I checked being clutch and showing up in the big games contribute to a team's overall skill, the Pack had none of that and therefore are the worse team. All you're sniveling is "But the pack were better in the regular season!", who gives a crap about the regular season? Lol, the playoffs are the true test for any team and the Pack failed this year.

You have to give the Giants D and their coaching staff alot of credit.  They rushed four and dropped 7.  The Packers pass plays took too long to develope and Rodgers had to run for his life too often.  It's hard to believe the Coughlin's name comes up as being on the hotseat.  He and his staff defintely did a better job then the Pack.

  Yeah, but we only had two weeks to prepare - ah - on second thought strike that.  Your bottomline is exactly right, the Giants and their coaching staff deserve a ton of credit.  Coughlin is a heck of a coach in a tough city with a ton of distractions.  He had his team tuned and that showed right out of the gate.

I said several times already(so please don't come back with your whiny excuses stuff) the Giants laid a good ol fashioned butt whoopin on the Packers and deserved the win. They played better..and were coached better.

However..The Packers did shoot themselves in the foot several times. Rodgers played poorly..it's not like he hasn't seen defenses take the deep ball away before? He missed Greg Jennings on a wide open TD pass(that's not the Giants defense there..is it? ) Jennings was wide open.

Rodgers to Starks on 3rd and 7 for a first down..Starks drops it. Next play..Rodgers to Crabtree..for a first down..right in his breadbasket..Crabtree drops it.

End of drive. That's not the Giants D either?

The Hail Mary before the end of the half..they're called hail mary's cuz they are nothing but a prayer. First Packer Mistake. TIMEOUT! The Giants ran the play..were tackled..the clock would have ran out..but Nooooo..60+ yards from the end zone..the Giants with NO timeouts and the lead..content to run out the clcok..and we call a TO?

Then the Giants still content to run the clock out..and NOBODY can tackle Bradshaw inbounds?  Then the Hail Mary and we have TWO DBS trailing the play..when the only thing that can hurt you is in the end zone..and they're 5-10 yards from the end zone?

1st Giant TD..Peprah hits nicks..instead of wrapping up(stupid poor tackling in the NFL) Nicks bounces off and scores.

Kuhn , Grant and Rodgers all fumble..and yes ..those are good defensive plays..but I don't think the Packers have lost a fumble in a looooong time..and now three(four really..cuz Jennings fumbled too) in a crucial game? Very uncharacteristic. Cobb put one on the ground too.

I have said it before..The Giants deserved to win..they were coached better and played better..however..the Packers made so many unforced errors as to blow several opportunities.

This wasn't simply the Packer defense..the Offense was terrible. Give the Giants D credit..but IF you watch football..you could clearly see the numerous UNFORCED errors by the Packers. Just bad football.

I am not making excuses..simply talking about what actually happened. I've already said on the game thread..here..and on the main board..Congrats to the Giants..they whooped the Packers. I didn't use any "excuses".

Now..we're simply talking about what happened during the game. The Fumble by Jennings was a fumble..the Blow to the head of Rodgers was bogus as well.

However..during the game..with all the unforced errors..the game could have played out differently. What ifs don't matter though..the season's over..but as fans..you still discuss what happened.

It was a terrible performance by the Packers..Offense..Defense..Coachng.

What the hell?  I'm just reading through, but I can't decide which fan base is more idiotic, the Lions or Saints.  Do any of these guys have any class?  You know how you can tell a guy has supported a crappy franchise for a long time on these boards.  It's when they clearly get their rocks off via other teams failures rather than their own teams successes.  Truly sad.    

Navy, ya crack me up.  Bears(and Cubs) and Vikings fans have always been bad that way but the Lions fans shot through the roof this season.  The whole "who dat" thing with the Saints became nauseating.  I get text messages from people I know in the Chicago area like "I hope Aaron Rodgers gets his neck broken".  That is just putrid jealousy(<hence my pic lol).  Some people are ridiculous.

This whole argument got blown out of proportion, the Giants won, Kudos, but the Packers clearly didn't play well and that is frustrating, if a team gives its best effort and gets beat well then so be it, but when a team that played nearly mistake free all season shows up and lays an egg with a bunch of turnovers and dropped passes among other things, it is fair to say that they beat themselves, that isn't takiing away from the way the Giants played because they obviously were the team that showed up, it is self criticism.  I'm willing to bet no Giants fan thinks that the Redskins are a better team than the Giants are, but when fighting for a playoff spot they threw up a 23-10 stinker at home in week 15 against the Skins and no doubt beat themselves doing it, so ya have to look at it from both perspectives.   

Rest be assured Packer fans will be pulling for the Giants if they make it to the Super Bowl, no AFC clowns here, but you are playing against the only team that had less turnovers and a better turnover ratio than the Packers, so I think that is a big deal, and the old argument about was the turnover "forced" or was the turnover a result of a mistake by the offense will continue......

The Giants are a balanced team. The Packers were a balanced team last year, but the Madden 2011 offense made the defense complacent. They became fat and lazy feasting off the points scored by Aaron Rodgers and Co.

When Aaron Rodgers and the offense couldn't provide the point feast, it was the end of the Packers' season because the defense forgot how to hunt.

Well my quick count on this thread has 8 Packers fans posting.  Three of them openly proclaim that the Giants won not because of what they did but because of what GB didnt do or couldn't do.  Three others speak the truth that they simply got dominated by a better team.  Two others, which include you, proclaim that you aren't making excuses but then go on to provide a laundry list of the things you did wrong.  By my count thats five making excuses against three who live in the real world.  So while technically not the entire Packers fan base but the majority are making excuses.

How ironic it is that you of all people can make that idiotic statement when you are one of the three regular posters on the Lions board doing exactly the same thing.  And you've been there every single week despite the fact that the teams only meet twice during the season.  Can't take it as well as you can give it, well too bad.   Take your medicine boy cause you deserve it.  You shot your mouth off all year about your greatness and when it mattered your team backed up those words by getting their butts kicked in their own house.
