Just wanted to take a few mins to tell you guys on behalf of the Auburn family and the SEC family welcome aboard! You guys have a good program and great traditions and I think you guys will help keep the SEC at the top of college sports and help improve our academic reputation which is pretty good to those in the know to begin with. I read a post a few mins ago from one of your own that talked about already seeing a big increase in the quality of recruits you are attracting. One thing you will find if you have never been to a SEC football game is we go all out for football tailgating and support for our teams. I have heard that A&M fans already do that as well so you should fit right in! One thing you have noticed if you read these boards often is while we have heated rivals within the conference, when member teams play outside the conference or in bowl games against non SEC teams we stick together and pull for whatever SEC is playing. Some of you may think that's silly but that's just how it is and I think it helps keep our conference at the top. There is a number of reasons why we do this that I won't get into but you will see. Anyway, welcome to the SEC and get ready to represent the best and win titles!!
Its about time someone shows up around here. I check the board almost every evening and it seems like everyone disappears during the offseason. Or, like myself, is spending more time lurking around TexAgs and Rivals.
I can't wait till next season either. I'm definately going to the SMU game since I'm not far from DFW and looking at one of the SEC games at Kyle. Thinking about Florida or LSU.
