I hope Romo's Offensive Line is watching how to protect their QB and How to give their QB time to throw the ball, Like Eli Manning Offensive Line is doing for him. instead of Romo running for his life on every snap. How many times did Eli Manning break his collar bone or how about broken ribs and a punctured lung and a bruised throwing hand. YUP its alot easier to win games when your playing with out these injuries.

And the defense didn't sniff another bowl after Dilfer either thus adding more proof to the assumption that he deserves more credit than the fantasy crowd is giving him. Hey, if you want Yates as your guy, that's your choice. I think the guy stinks and his success was the result of a great surrounding cast. I think we should trade Romo to the Texans next year so they can run away with the AFC and win the Super Bowl. I'd be willign to bet that team would win no less than 13 games next year.

Given that Jon Kitna is done and I'm not sure Stephen McGee is solid back-up material (let alone potential starter material), I wouldn't argue against looking at a QB in the draft.

I really don't advocate getting rid of blue-chip players. Ware is a guy you build around, not get rid of.

Trent Dilfer was an average to above-average QB who had some very good intangibles and happened to be in the right place at the right time. If you think there's a lot more to it than that, you're delusional.

Yet again, you're making my point for me. A QB, no matter how great, isn't going anywhere unless he's got a good supporting cast around him. And some teams have such special traits (i.e., Trent Dilfer's Ravens and Brad Johnson's Bucs, who had lights-out defenses) that they can win without an elite QB.
