Floyd calls Pacman... literally

January 24, 2012 5:09 pm

I'm pretty sure that Pac made those comments BEFORE he knew that he didn't have as much $$ as he was supposed to be getting from Arum. Now that he knows he needs it, he wants it.  And he deserves it.  Atlas is 100% correct in saying that Floyd is crazy for not agreeing to it if he really wants to come across as the one who wants it more.  Calling Pacquiao to try and make the fight, but then telling him that 50/50 is "not possible" really negates the phone call all together and was  pointless from the start.  Before the phone call, Pac said himself(not Arum or Koncz), that if Floyd agreed to a 50/50 split, he would be willing to fight.  There was nothing about dates of arenas being built, and blood testing issues, nothing but that one statement.  Which Floyd turned down.  So who's the one to blame now??

Ron, you keep conveniently avoiding the question(as usual when you are wrong), but didn't Floyd already agree to a 50/50 split and sign it???

Yes, Floyd agreed to 50/50 and signed the contract in 2009.  I'm not sure what question I avoided... I already put it out there that I think Floyd is an absolute moron if he doesn't agree to 50/50 this time around as well.

You said it, but you can't prove it.  You tell me to google it, which I did...and found nothing that says he agreed to a 50/50 split at anytime.  It makes no sense that he would agree to it back then and not now, unless of course he agreed to it knowing that Pac wouldn't call his bluff on the USADA testing.

You don't use google very well Dawgs... eventually we will teach you how to use that computer.  It's very easy to prove, as it was big news back in 2009 and it's in about 50 news stories from Dec. 2009.  I'll link one of them here for you so you realize it was common knowledge and not just me "making it up"  lol

That article was obviously written by a Floyd nuthugger.  But does common knowledge also tell us that BOTH signed the contract???  Because that's what the article says.  Like I said before, anybody can write anything on the internet.  Where's the article with Dan Rafael HIMSELF saying that they both agreed to a 50/50 split??  Not some Flomo "making up" stuff!

Okay Dawgs, here is the rafael link, but you are seriously going to have to learn to use your computer at some point, I can't keep doing this for you.

This report is back when things were looking good, before Arum brought the "NEW" terms of the contract back to Floyd, which included Manny's demand for NO random drug testing, which had been in the original contract signed by Floyd and one that Arum said would be no problem for Manny to sign.  Once Manny made it clear he was not going to submit to random drug testing, we ended up with Pacqiao-Clottey being made less than 3 weeks after this report was made.

Was that so hard?  Like I said before, I don't have as much time on my hands, unlike you, to be searching hi and low for articles from 2 years ago.  But thanks for finally backing up your words!

Anyways...so Floyd agreed to a 50/50 split back then, but now it's out of the question.  Why do you think that is?  Here's what I think...Floyd knew Manny wouldn't agree to the blood testing, so he agreed to everything else to make it look like he really wanted the fight.  Now that Manny seems to have no problem with blood testing, he won't agree to a 50/50 split.  He really has no reason to NOT agree to a 50/50 split other than using that as a reason not to fight!

I absolutely don't think Floyd is the least bit worried about losing to Manny, so I have no idea why he won't agree to 50/50.  There is no reason not to. I can tell you by not publically saying he will agree to 50/50, any people who started to like Floyd for calling out Manny have once again remembered why they hate Floyd.
