I was looking at the Rams' defensive ranking and wondering about the Spagnuolo hire. The Rams ranked 31st in rushing defense and 7th in passing defense. I am hoping the rushing numbers reflect that the Rams were getting blown out a lot, so teams were running the ball to kill the clock. I remember the loss to the Rams this year when they were all over Brees and hoping that is what the Saints will begin showing next year. I still cringe thinking about Alex Smith passing all over us in that playoff game. Is someone familiar enough with Spagnuolo's career to post a brief breakdown of the defenses Spagnuolo has coached?
