He is into music which is another reason why LA is an attractive destination, and I think he's mentioned something about warm weather...  my guess is USC. 

If McQ is really interested in academics and not just paying lip service to it, then UofM has a shot. Oregon is likely to be looking for a new coach in January and who knows what Kiffin will do by then. I spoke to a booster taht claims that Kiffin needs to beat UCL, ND and Oregon to save his job. Not sure I believe that but Haden is pissed. Monte is likely to get forced out though.

McQuay's decision will likely go down to the wire and we all know how Hoke fares with the big fish at crunch time. I still say he ends up at academic powerhouse FSU. Hope I'm wrong.

Two questions; Does the play of Gardner at all sway the thinking of Treadwell?  Will Ty Isaac reconsider with the debacle of a season at SC and the uncertainty around Kiffin?  The new look offense may make Isaac reconsider as well.  Just a thought, I know Non, Treadway isn't coming, just wondering if it makes him think a little more about blue.  Let's go get ohio!!  GO BLUE!!!!!!!!!

Treadwell latest statements are that Michigan is falling in his eyes while Notre Dame and Florida are rising... I still think that the attention whore ends up at Oklahoma State

I still think that we have a decent shot at Green, it looks like he wants to play in the south but Tennessee and Auburn are tire fires who will probably end up losing their head coaches, so unless he wants to play in Miami's empty stadium, Michigan has to be near the top of the list.  Hoke does not do well with top recruits who let the process play out, so we'll see what happens.

Not next year.  Fitz will be back, along with Rawls.  But, always good to add great talent at all positions every year.

Interesting, I wonder if this has more to do with USC being in shambles, or possibly things not looking great with Green? Either way you'd have to think these guy were watching that game saturday, and saw what everyone else did. We have a glaring need for a play making tailback. If a bigtime guy were to commit, one would think they would have a great chance at playing early. That combined with an Athletic QB coming back (possibly for 2 years), and the OL recruits coming in, this has to be a draw. Here's hoping Isaac, or Green commit! Thanks for the update DW, btw are either Green or Isaac looking to enroll early?

Green I have heard. Im not counting out the ability of Deveon Smith (he just broke all of maurice clarettes records) and may be Mr Ohio on offense.


As it was apparent this year, we need depth at RB. Losing Fitz cost us the ohio game.

I think the desire to play in the south is the only thing stopping Green from committing...  even so all his options are tire fires except for maybe Ole Miss.

I have no clue why they hired him in the first place, sure he paid Newton to come and still had Tuberville's defense during the title season but why he got hired is beyond me.

Green tweeted out this morning saying he loved his time at the Big House and Hoke and Co. won over his parents. I think this is all but wrapped up. He wants to be a feature back early on and he would have that here.

I wouldn't call Green a lock just yet, it looks like Michigan should be the clear choice but I just get thos feeling that he really wants to play in the south.  Conley is gone now, no suprises there.

Conley is a douche. UofM discovered him and fork tongue realized he was good when everyone else did. Michigan liked this kid vefore the hub pub. Just shows what an eye for talent out team has.


Green would be awesome.

yeah Conley started getting the itch for visiting other schools the second he started receiving more offers... he wanted to visit Cincy but backed off when he was told that his scholly would be pulled.  His dad is a huge Michigan fan and tried to talk him into staying committed but his mom always pushed him into taking visits.  From what I hear he really wants an Oregon offer which he will probably receive if he visits... that is where I think he will end up. 

Got a text from his coach saying coaches from Michigan were at the school today. IMO Michigan is in VERY good shape with him.

Derrick Green?

NON-  This is the classic, I know a guy that knows a guy but............ I live just 20 minutes from richmond and I do have a friend that knows the "Green Camp"  he is saying that is is essentially down to two teams, us and Auburn.  The attraction to Auburn still depends on who they hire as Head Coach but we are in it.
