Jan. 21st, TRob Day

Ironically precisely one year after that fateful weekend against Texas last year KU will take on the 'Horns again only this time led by Thomas Robinson The National Player of the Year candidate as opposed to the super 6 man he was 365 days ago.   In all honesty I don't know where this kid's strength and maturity comes from but he might be the best representation of what is KU basketball under Bill Self as anyone.   He came in a kid with super energy, tremendous athleticism but extremely raw talent and unpolished skills.   Three years later he will leave Kansas as possibly CBB's best player and a certain NBA lottery pick.   But most importantly is he will be able to take care of himself and younger sister.

Take time to watch this video of college game day.  It is emotional and inspirational.    I escpecially like the quote from Self, "I would never say he needs to leave, but I hope Thomas is able to leave.   I hope this is his last year at the University of Kansas."

Thanks for the link, Shoe. I am happy to see T-Rob handling his business so well. Some people fold under such enormous weight, so T-Rob should be able t<span style="color: #ffffff;">o draw on this experience his whole life. If he can not only survive, but THRIVE under this weight, there is nothing he will face in his life that he won't be able to overcome.

I don't follow the NBA much, but I will always take the time to follow T-Rob and cheer for his success moving forward.
