KU @ Texas

Looking pretty good so far. KU up 16-7 with 11+ minutes to go in the 1st half. A few too many long jumpers for KU, but not horrible. I'd like to see T-Rob get in the offense a bit more.

Don't generally see many goal tending calls,  but Texas has managed two already in less than half of a half so far.  Really?

Kind of ugly thus far in my opinion.

T-Rob gets a dumb technical. Needs to park his East Coast testosterone and get his a$$ in the post and make some plays.

CBS just showed a graphic where BU is #3 MU #5 and KU #7.  With two losses in the week by BU and MU's win over BU, MU likely moves up from their #5 spot.  Can MU really be a top 5 team?!

Self needs to call timeout and CHEW SOME A$$. KU looks like idiots right  now. Defense has completely disappeared. Taylor back in the game, hopefully he can get the team back in order.

Withey needs to do something inthe weight room to work on hisgrip. He gets the ball hit or taken out of his hands too often for a guy his size.

I don't know....sure seems like some questionable fouls going KU's way.

The flops are overly dramatic but Withey did put a hip into him.  Aldrich used to drop me crazy with plays like this 25 feet from the tin.  Absolutely no need for it. 

Teahan is pretty much money when he gets set open looks.  Seems like Self should setup a handful of plays a game for this specific reason.

The first half for me was about a few things.    First of all Robinson looks to be pressing and I guess he deserves a pass for that.   We do need him to get settle down though.   Conner Teahan really has no business playing other than in the final minutes of a huge blowout.   yes he can hit the long range shot but he doesn't get open against good competition and he cannot defend good competition as evidence of his inability to stay within 10 feet of McCellan on the perimeter.   

The reason we are winning this game is easily due to Tyshawn's continuing to play at an elite level.   No turnovers and scoring from everywhere adding 4 assists and a few boards to boot.  Also the pretty good play of Jeff Withey.   He does need to add weight as twocoach said but he certainly is redirecting shots inside and I'm sure I'm not the only one who loves having a big man who is automatic from the stripe.

Agreed, Shoe. Taylor looks great. KU needs to keep the ball in EJ's hands with Taylor moving without the ball looking to score. T-Rob is under major defensive pressure underneath, so we'll see if that changes or if it just continues to open up the floor for the rest of the Jayhawks.

If Tayor didn't "have" to play point out of necessity, you guys would love him! He will be a good guard in the pros. Takes anyone off the dribble, plays good D and can hit shots from anywhere and everywhere. I have no idea how Missouri will guard him without getting in foul trouble.

Twocoach, you have some crow to eat after todays Baylor game. They pretty much played into our hands and if Mizzou doesn't make so many unforced to's and Denmon was on, it would have been a lopsided game. Scott Drew as usual STUNK.

Not really. Did ANYONE think that Baylor was really that soft? I'll bet even the Mizzou players and staff were surprised at how weak they were underneath.

And IF... just stop. If Baylor would have played better, they would have won. If Mizzou would have played better, they would have won by more. Brilliant insight.
