Just to point out the obvious, the so-called great Nadal beat Federer on the hardcourt at 17 yrs of age in 2004. Was Fed doing ok then? Yes, Nadal peaked a bit early in his career, unlike Federer. And Federer is the fittest of all-time for sure. Never suffered a significant injury. Never missed a Slam since he won his first. He's the quickest, most naturally gifted, and determined 30 year old I've seen, so I wouldn't complain about the age difference anyway. The way Nadal plays, he probably feels 30 himself. Nadal is just better head to head. Wouldn't matter if the two were the same age. And yes, Fed dominated the awesome players that are his age. You know, Roddick, Hewitt, etc...

This avatar bet is interesting.  Each of you has an advantage with your respective players going into the match:

- DJOKOVIC: His current streak against Rafael, which gives Nole that extra confidence, and Rafa that extra doubt.  Add to that the fact that Novak simply HAS been the best player on the Tour for the past year.
- NADAL: I don't believe his match against Federer was as gruelling as Novak's against Murray, and, that additional day's rest might be a HUGE benefit.  Also, you just have to figure that he and Uncle T. did some major analysis of how to combat Novak's recent success against him during the month off in December.

I truly don't have any gut feel about who I think will win it at ALL, at this point.  I really don't care either way, though, as I like both players.  I just want it to go 5 sets plus.  *LOL*  Let's see a 13-11 clinching set!!

Yes, Nadal did use to own Joker. But that was before the Joker went on steroids. Let's remember the year before Joker 1-10 aginast Nadal and Federer than last year he was 11-1. Huh? What an amazing turn around. I wonder why?
