Off-season free agent acquisitions to pursue

Barring a freak injury to Rodgers, you're the NFC North favorite and a lock for the playoffs every year until further notice.
Trust us, we know.

Just noticed another tweak to the salary cap per the new CBA, Seifert and Clayton at ESPN are reporting that teams can rollover unused cap space from 2011 onto 2012, the Packers rollover would basically double their starting available cap room.

I usually don't comment on these things but Arasmis, if what you are showing in your avatar were to happen it would be a travesty.  For the love of everything holy I implore you to change that hideous disfiguremnent now or I shall be forced to put you on ignore until such time as you realize the error and implications of what you are suggesting.  There is no need to ruin Emma like that.

As far as commenting on the Packers, I can't concentrate right now while my mind is on that photo.  Its just to horrendous to consider.

Off-season free agent acquisitions to pursue

"5 weeks ago, Packers fans were riding 11 straight months of "The Packers won with half the team in IR!  No way they don't repeat!"

Now it's a team full of flaws that "amazingly" won 15 games with these gaping holes?  C'man."

The 2010 team did have a lot of injuries and fans were quick to point out we were winning "despite" all those injuries. In (my) reality, the Packers were winning down the stretch of the playoffs to the superbowl because - even with those injuries - the Packer defense was getting to - and disrupting - QB's, the final 7 games. If THAT sounds familiar, see the 2011 version of the final push/run of the NY Giants and Super Bowl 46.

As far as this year, "despite" a lack of any consistent pass rush, the Packer offense was outscouring 15 of the 17 opponents we played this year. Not that we were skilled at stopping anyone else's offense, but our "O" put up more points than the opponents did in 15 of 17 tries.

The flaws were always there - for two years ... the lack of any pass rush made a huge difference in the appearance and ability of those two teams.
