Just watched the the game, had to DVR-it, it's the classic Jekle & hide game, asleep in the 1st and a BEAST in the 2nd.
I don't know what coach Self gave them at half but I want some! (Unless it was a but chew'n.) I could see just enough mix-up in the 1st half to keep them from playing strong for both half's. Any win is a good win.GO KU!!!
Wow back to back nights I thought we would get some help with TExas beating Mizzou and A/M beating Baylor. Really thought that A/M even down 2 starters might gut one out.
Oh, Well, we have to do our own dirty work. Now our toughest stretch can officially start. Win or lose on Saturday, this race is far from over or even close to being over. Gotlieb, sounded like the loser would flounder after this upcoming game, but I think just he opposite will happen no matter which team loses the game. Alot of games left to b e played out yet, and knowing how road games are, I can all of us, Bay, Mizz and KU losing games on the road that maybe t hey shouldn't.
Tonight I think we saw what can happen if our team goes thru Withey and Trob more. THe passes out of the post area were better tonight than any other night I can remember. That is the game plan, just follow it. Even if we g et behind a little bit, we have to stay the course against Mizzou. Teams have come back from double digits all year on them. Play our game.
It going to be a great game win or lose i have a feeling.
Florida seems to be the team to beat for Walker with us next and then Kentucky. He is phenominal but he would be well advised to come to Kansas and get tweaked by the best big man coach in all of college basketball.
The main focus of the program for 2013 with Greene already on board seems to be Allerik Freeman.
