I think so too.  It will be a seed lower then 1 or 2, and a lot of upsets.

i thinkn Kentucky should win it this yr and right now they are playing like the best team, but the toughest part of their schedule is comming up after this weekends game at South Carolina.  The big factor is if Jones showes up to play all 6 games. But this coould also be the year a team such as Creighton, UNLV or a team thats not highly favored to win it it really is kinda up for grabs this year with there being so many evenly mached teams

Uk is benefitting from a relatively weak SEC this year. I am not saying they aren't good, but I still think it's going to be a wide open tournament.

That would still make the conference relatively weak this year.

UK has a great shot to win it all,but so does alot of other teams. UK's defense will be the key to how far they make a run. Injuries can change the outcome or foul trouble in a certian game. There is still alot of basketball to be played and lets see how UK does against the back half of conference schedule, which is way tougher. Just enjoy fans ONE GAME AT A TIME !!!!!!

I just realized how much I really like this thread. Its chock full of intelligent arguments on both side of the Ball, people giving out specific arguments why or why not this may or may not happen.

It'a got me VERY excited for March hereeeee and nowww! Cannot wait. Cool

A case in point.  Right there.  Cats just spanked.  And I mean SPANKED.  The #7 team in the nation.

I hate to say it but it will be theirs to lose. They are the best team in College Basketball at the moment.  They have the talent but we know how far that will get you ( 5 first round draft picks).  There are only 2 things that will get in the way. Cal being Cal in the Suite. Those who know will get that.
And Cal being Cal in the heat of the game. Sometimes he is his own wost enemy.

Kentucky is tough... it will take a certain type of match up to beat them.  I think it would take a team to shoot lights out from three to beat them in the tournament and we all know that can happen in March.  The wildcats do look like the favorite at the moment though.
