Though this is true (and I'm glad he does; he's a good one!), it really shouldn't factor in too much. True freshmen o-lineman simply don't come into major programs and start in their first year. Just doesn't happen. So it leaves one season when they might start that Lewan will still be here. Some might look at it as they might "only" start three years instead of four I suppose. But certainly the numbers based on what is recruited this year, last year, and next year, have the biggest impact on PT for an o-lineman in this class.
I think the answer is ... when he's ready. This isn't like Diamond. He hasn't picked a time and day to proclaim his intentions in front of the spotlight. He was all set to sign on the dotted line for Iowa on signing day, and then he got cold feet about his decision. It appears that he is simply afraid to make the wrong decision, or a decision he'll regret in some way, and is having difficulty making a commitment. Since his finalists include two schools that were among Diamond's finalists, hopefully the announcement last night by Diamond will clear some things up in Kozan's mind and he'll be ready to put his signature on a LOI very soon.
