If you wish to participate in the Loser's game this year please sign up here or at CBSsports.com. Fog and I are going to run the game and we have decided to include both NGS and CBS racing fans in the game. Here are the rules for 2012:
Here are the rules for the 2012 Loser’s game.
1. Each week you will pick a driver you think will not win the race
2. Points will be awarded as follows: 43 if you driver comes in 43rd position, 42 points for 42nd position etc.
3. If your diver wins the race you are ELIMINATED
4. The 1st 5 races of the season you may pick anyone who qualifies for the race, starting race 6 (Martinsville) you will only be able to pick drivers in the top 35. NOTE: The top 35 starting at Martinsville will lock for this game for ease of management.
5. Picks shall be in 30 minutes before the scheduled start of the race.
6. If you do not pick a driver or duplicate a driver you score 0 points. If you miss or duplicate a driver, or any combiniation of both, 3 times you will be eliminated.
7. Upon the start of the chase a new game will start for the chase and if were eliminated you may participate in the chase. All entries in the regular season will be in the chase automatically. (rules for the chase will be posted at that time).
8. A $25.00 I Tune card, or similar item with the same value at the winners request, will be awarded to the regular season champion.
9. Standings will be posted on NGS and a link will be provide
10. You Must make a pick the last week of the season, if you are still in the contest, or you will automatically be eliminated. No Free Ride
Note 1: You are encouraged to start your own spreadsheet to post your picks as Excel will do an autofill if you start typing the same name. This will help to avoid duplicates.
Note 2: reminders that a pick has not been submitted may or may not happen. So don’t depend on me to send the reminder. I will start the thread each week for you to post your pick.
Note 3: All games for CBS will be advertised on NGS as well as NGS games on CBS. We invite everyone to check out both sites. You do not have to be a member to see the standings on NGS. Our hopes are to have not only the standings but a link to you may view the spreadsheet and look at each individual tab on who has picked who and to verify the scoring if you please.
