Manny vs. Tim Bradley June 9th

So Arum's big plan for Manny is to have him fight stablemate Tim Bradley June 9th, then have him fight the winner of JMM vs. Lamont Peterson (which Arum set up a 2 fight contract with each of them) in November.  


With the news that Arum never once talked to any of Floyd's people or returned a phone call, I am assuming Manny/Floyd will never happen unless Manny can escape the Arum asylum like Miguel Cotto did.  Rumor has it Cotto/Mayweather was a done deal in leass than 1 afternoon of negotiation now that Cotto isn't represented by Arum.

 I'm not a Manny fan, but Tim Bradley's bulbus, boulder like head annoys me. I'll root for Pac for a change, I suppose.  I know I can't be the only one who thinks Bradley has a big ass head lol...

On a side note I'm glad Peterson is getting a chance to fight for a big payday with Manny if he beats JMM. It's a homer pick I know, but I'll go with Lamont in that one. 

Even though it was everything we expected, Arum sticking Manny in with a Top Rank guy....I actually like this match up.  A lot more than Manny's previous 4 fights!  He at least is in his prime and undefeated, so it should be somewhat competitive.

It still pisses me off that Arum is matching Manny with all Top Rank guys!  And yes...Bradley reminds me of that old show on MTV...Oddities, the head!

It's the first time in a LONG time Manny is matched with a guy who isn't A. Weight drained or B. Coming off a recent devastating loss or unimpressive win.  So at least there is that.  

That being said, I hate watching Tim Bradley fight, and Manny should destroy him and Top Rank will drop Timmy soon after he did his duty and fought Manny. I hope I'm wrong about Bradley but I just don't see him being a championship level fighter.

Who's still confused about the media and Arum's games. Has anyone noticed the top rank advertisements in ESPN's background. That's why I don't purchase top rank fights.

Ditto again.  I can't stand watching Bradley's giant head either.  Other than Mayweather this was the one out of Arums list that I wanted Manny to fight.  He is the one guy who people have been mentioning as an opponent for Manny for a while now, despite the fact that we all know Manny will probably knock the living crap out of him.  Hopefully Manny doesn't take it lightly though.  The only thing I'm worried about is November now, I'm afraid that we will be seeing Manny/JMM again, I don't think Lamont will be able to pull one off with JMM IMO unless they fight in D.C. again.
