I believe so. He is very athletic as well. He has similar athleticism and body type as another guy that we have been debating on here. (hint: the guys name is Derrick Rose). Lin has some explosion to the hoop and he has the strength, length and hops to finish and/or draw fouls). I remember with Golden State the guy would blow by guys and you would wait for him just to do exactly that. Get to the rhyme strong and get up quick and just try to finish or get a foul but it was like he didn't realize he could do it. He would always slow up and try to pass it or put up a floater then but he didn't need to and results were not good. He never got that much PT and I kind of just forgot about it him but I could see where he is a guy that if he just learned to use that explosion he has to the hoop like Rose he could be a real good player. It seems he learned that lesson but sadly not with Golden State :(
I am not sure how much the SAT has to do with hoops smarts necessarily in all cases anyway. I recall that Jason Kidd did not do to well in his SATs for example, but he is one of the smartest basketball players to ever play the game.
I watch D-Rose drive to the basket and he's awesome(at times Jordan like) and in that way he is better than Paul. In just about every other way Chris Paul is better. The amount of stats that support that are overwhelming. C-P3 is easily the best PG in the NBA. Rose is the best PG in the East.
