My big issue is this, Kansas is going to end up with a seed that is likely higher than what should be expected from such an erratic team. This puts them in the unenviable but obvious position of being a huge "upset" just waiting to happen. I can easily see a #1 or #2 seeded KU team have a 2nd round loss to a 7-10 seeded team that is slightly underseeded and hot to show they are being disrespected. Northern Iowa is the prime example of that. Frankly, I think that type of team is more of a threat to this group than a Top 4 seed at a neutral site.Yep!
Six turnovers by Taylor is huge but the bigger number (both figuratively and literally) is 20. That's the number of personal fouls called on KU compared to 10 for MU. Just sayin'............

And about SIX of those were charging calls, which while a few were questionable could-have-gone-either-way calls, are largely careless, irresponsible plays.

Everyone is saying that he should be playing BETTER by eliminating moronic, careless plays!
Not a huge fan of this original post to this thread. Will ignore that posters threads for awhile.
Anyway, most are absolutely correct in TT analogies. I have for the better part of his career had some strong words towards him, but never wished ill fate or anything of the likely. We can despise the players plays, but we can not despise the player personally as to have harm done unto him.
I can say without a doubt that 2coach has the same opinion I do about TT. I think we all have pulled out some gray hair that he has caused us at times. I was going through my mind of other pg's that have came and went from here and he is the one that I would have to say is one of the more talented in raw ability. Then when i think about pg's in the sense of being your team leader, I will say that he is average at best. Not terrible, not great. Average. Sherron COllins was this same player, but managed to get away with it until UNI for the most part. Sherron was a better shooter, and more of a clutch player if you will. TT can drive better an contort his body to make more shots from down low. But one in the same.
I know that Tharpe isn't the answer, but imagine if he had progressed some and could be the ball handler instead of TT all the time. We won some hard fought games last year when TT was riding the pine for some kind of punishment. EJ was a different player last year as well. EJ is not getting the job done either. His isues are confidence and that only.
Like others have stated, we are going to win with or lose with TT as our main ball handler. Too late to expect him to flip a switch and get smarter.
Its all a matter of opinion. He will go down as either one of peoples favorites or go down as a total underachiever.
