The NCAA must have appointed rondoshow to determine the brackets.

It doesn't matter what #1 seed UK gets, thanks to the Pod system now in place. UK could get the #1 seed out west, but still get their first round games in Louisville. Just like everything NCAA related, MONEY is what drives the NCAA Tournament also. The NCAA will do everything in its power to put Duke or UNC in North Carolina, Syracuse close to Syracuse, Ohio State close to Columbus and Kentucky close to Rupp.

Is that wrong?  Hell, in the women's NCAA tourney, teams get home games.

Hell no.  Not wrong at all. I have been to many NCAA first round games in the past, prior to the pods, where the arena in Cincinnati was half full because the first round game was Maryland vs. Canisius (just an example), but went to the first round games in 2006 at Rupp, when Louisville, Ohio St . and Xavier were in town. We bought our tickets for the first 2 rounds for $100, but when Louisville, Xavier AND Ohio St. advanced to the second round, sold our tickets for $150 each, went to BW3s, and partied.

1) There is a lot of Basketball left.
2) Ohio State has one loss without Sullinger to Kansas @Kansas, which should be factored in.
3) Ohio State's schedule is tougher.  They could pass Kentucky and Syracuse if they both lose.
4) I agree with everyone else, you don't want to be the overall #1. Ever since that has been announced the Overall #1 has only won once, Florida on the repeat, but I think Ohio State was the overall #1 that year, not sure.

uhhhhhhh, what?  Are you purposely leaving out their loss to unranked Illinois?  Or was that a complete accident?

Keep in mind, they lost to Illinois WITH Sullinger

As it sits right now,if they all win out,Kentucky is and should be the #1 seed. From what Ive seen, they are also playing the best ball right now.I think they're maybe playing 3-5 points better than any of the other top contender......right now.

The number one seed will come down to more than just numbers.  If UK wins out, there is no way they lose the number one seed.  I don't see them winning out with three really tough road games ahead though.

I am surprised to see a Mizzou fan thinking they will earn it though.  Right now, they are the fourth #1.

I believe Kentucky could lose 2 games in the reg season. win the SEC tournament and still be the #1 overall seed.  While RPI and SOS mean something. Who you played in the Non- Conference SOS in the eye test will make a difference in with the commitee.  Becasue UK played KU, UNC, Lousville, and Indiana. I beleive UK will get picked as the 1 overall over Syracuse.. and for the record. I beleive this national championship is between Kentucky and Syracuse with Kentucky being the favorite. Missouri, Ohio state and North Carolina are hoNorable mentioning.  Kansas, Baylor and Duke are just mentioned.

Kentucky will probably get the overall #1, but IU will take it from them in the tourney.  So yes.
