Tiger Wins and Wins a lot....This Year

February 7, 2012 9:27 am

The best motivator is revenge, and He has that in his eyes.  It used to be Jacks records, it used to be the money... not anymore... REVENGE.  We took a golfing icon and ripped him, well not me, because I am a Tiger fan and have always been.  I don't care about anything he does off the course. But there are a lot of people, a lot on here, a lot around the world that have turned there back on Tiger, and for what, cheating on his wife?  Our President of the United States did, a few of them as a matter of fact, but nobody has been torn apart like Tiger!!

Now Tiger has something else to prove, not to himself, but to all the doubters, to all the Haters.  You have guys like Poulter, And Rory just to name a couple who say they are not scared of him, that they want to play Tiger.... Careful what you wish for Grasshopper.  Who are we to doubt the best golfer the world has ever seen.  We question his swing change, WHY?  When he left Butch, people thought he was crazy, With Haney he won more!  Now he leaves Haney for Sean Foley.... He is crazy you say.... Maybe he is just ahead of the curve!  Golf has turned to science, and Science has shown that the Foley Method, as well as the stack and tilt are the best ways to strike a golf ball... PERIOD!  Don't believe me, look it up, read the track man data.  To create the least amout of side spin, to compress the golf ball to the utmost, it's the best.

You ask, well then why aren't other people doing it... Why aren't there more people playing this way.... There will be!  Players were not tought to swing that way, and fear change... But Not Tiger!! Other players fear taking a year off to learn something new, not Tiger!!

Other players are starting to take notice, If Tiger putts like Rory in  Abu Dhabi he wins by 10..... Rory knew that, so did the rest of the world!

Its going to be a great year on the PGA tour, I am excited that Tiger is back... A lot more then the rest of the field!!

Why would Woods have revenge in his mind?  What has been done to him that he seeks revenge?

Gator you bring up this old bit of crap.

But there are a lot of people, a lot on here, a lot around the world that have turned there back on Tiger, and for what, cheating on his wife?  Our President of the United States did, a few of them as a matter of fact, but nobody has been torn apart like Tiger!!

It is always easy to forgive a 3rd party. This is where the utter crap about forgiveness gets right up my nose.  All you Flat Eared Woods lovers scream about forgivness. You all tend to shout about turning the other cheek.  You bring in example  of other stars that have had affairs.

Let me ask you and all the other fools who cry for forgiveness.  Lets say you have a daughter. She is married and she has 2 kids.  Suddenly  you discover your son -in -law has been cheating on your beautiful daughter. Not a one time fling with a neighbours wife but has been cheating with low class hoors who might have been riddled with STD's.  When your lovely daughter was at home heavily pregnant your son -in-law  was out horring around.  Your daughter is devestated when the  details come out. The man she loved , the father of your grandkids is nother more than a SERIAL cheater.  He has obvious LIED from the begining. He is a cheat, a fraud and a LIAR.

You are telling me you would be loving and forgiving to this guy?  Your daughter's marriage is in tatters her life is in turmoil....all because your son-in-law has cheated with  hoors some 20 + times.

You are all the rest of you Tiger lovers would  forgive youir son-in -law under the same circumstances???  Remember your daughter isn't going to forgive her hooring husband, but you are???   If you answer "yes"  you are  fooling yourself.

Noko, this post was about golf... You are trying to bring in a personal emotion to a situation that I was not personally effected by.  So to answer your question, because that's all you will keep saying for the next 25 post... Yes, if I had a daughter, and her husband was cheating on her, I would not forgive him.  but Tiger did not sleep with anyone I know or anyone I was related too.... So I don't care!!

I agree with you Gator, Tiger should have a great year, but he better get the flat stick going. Back in the day you knew he was going to make everything, now unless it's a kick in, he's just like every one else.

He can re do his swing over and over again, but the putting is a different story. His speed in the long putts is what is lacking from what I see, he still aggressive with anything inside 10 ft. Tiger is showing signs that he has turned it around, he will need to continue that trend to win tournaments.

Great to see him back at Pebble Beach...about time !

Noko, this post was about golf...

Really? Your opening paragraph is dedicated to firstly REVENGE, you move on to cheating on his wife, and you end up with bringing the USA President into the mix.

You then go on to stick it to Poulter and MacIlroy and start chuntering on about the 'haters'    Where exactly did you mention  golf?

Tell us where Woods is seeking REVENGE?

So you freely admit this forgiveness notion is a crock?  You would condemn your son-in-law for being a liar a cheat and a fraud. But you adore Woods for being the same?

Woods may have a great year, and so too may a hundred other PGA tour pros.  So what.

People don't dislike Woods because he "had an affair."

It's the text messages (never challenged by Woods' attorneys) hinting at a disturbing misogyny.  (Contrast those with the Accenture commercial featuring Woods reading a bedtime story to his daughter).

To say people dislike Woods because he had an affair is saying people dislike Bernie Madoff because he made a bookkeeping error.

Why don't you try to come with something to say?  Do you have anything to add to any conversation other than to ridicule and criticize what every one is saying?  Have you ever just made a post or an observation that anyone would be interested in reading?  All you do is sit back and cherry pick people's comments and then lash out saying the they know SFA about golf etc.   You are a pathetic, worthless MORON.  Why don't you try to say something positive, or try to start a topic on converstion rather than just trying to belittle your stable of adversaries?  Try something NEW.  Try ADDING something to a conversation instead of being a knee-jerk JERK>

First of all "people" in general don't dislike Woods.  The haters that HATED him since day one are using the affair as a reason to pile on the man.  Tiger rocks.  he's awesome.  Unless you are a hater, you know that he is the best to ever play the game -

Noko, you still haven't mentioned the part when I talked about switching coaches, moved to foley and science.... ETC... Do you wear a thong under your skirt or I bet Granny Panties!

You don't talk about his golf, cause you don't understand what I am saying... You have on Loud Mouth golf shorts, Iron covers and a ball retriever sticking out of your bag with a Winn grip on it!! If you don't want to talk golf, then don't talk on this post please...

Lanny, I agree there may be a few that have a great year, but not in the big Tournaments, the ones Woods plays in.  There is an elite grouop of golfers at the top, and they all know Woods is hitting it good!!  Even Brandel Chamblee, Who I think the golf channel needs to get rid of faster the Noko on this post, is starting to talk about Woods Ball Stiking!

OK Gator I'm up for a bit of golf talk. Lets try your lunacy from your opening post.

If Tiger putts like Rory in  Abu Dhabi he wins by 10..... Rory knew that,

I believe it's fair to add a bit of balance to this utterly lopsided comment.  The balance is this  ...IF  Rory had driven the ball like Woods for 3 rounds Rory would have won by 20 strokes.

So where does your golfing IF leave you.

gator you are like Stumpy. Yopur knowledge of golf is appalling.  You are the clown who pops up every year and moans that the majors are too tough.  Sir, you are a fool.

If Tiger putts like Rory in  Abu Dhabi he wins by 10..... Rory knew that,

As a stand alone , your comment is meaningless.  Rory drove the ball terribly and still beat Woods.   Using your scenario Rory would have crushed your guy.

Sorry Gator, but you are flat out wrong as usual.

WOW......A true Lonnieism.   Where do these gems come from.   An elite group of golfers at the top!!!   Who would ever have thought that was possible.

The top is getting more widespread these days.

VaHawk, that is nonsense.  Woods' popularity fell from 91% pre-scandal to 32% post-scandal.

Do the math: Well over half the nation went from liking him to disliking him.

See Noko, now you are speaking of golf and it's obvious you can't play.... DOn't look at driving accuracy, it means nothing.  Not in 90% of tournaments played.  Look at greens in regulation.  These guys are all missing fairways, and coming in with low irons the ball is so good and still spins because of there club head speed.  Heck, Stanley dropped a ball in the first cut!

elite golfers meaning playing in the elite Tournaments.  Sure some guys may have great years on the PGA tour, Mark Wilson for instance, but he will not be seen in the elite catagory.  He may have a great year in the 2nd tier PGA events, Hilton Head, Greensboro... But there is a pretty big gap in the elite and good catagory in my opinion

I get it Gator. Woods would have scored much better if he had missed the fairway in days  1-3?

Funny how his worst driving day was  round 4 and that was his worst score.

Funny how when Woods stood on the 72nd hole (with Rock possibly in the water ) he stood up and missed the fairway. I guess he did this on purpose to give him a better chance?

Playing out of the rough gave him a better chance at eagle?

I fully understand that the rough is not as punative as it should be.

But your thought about Woods putting like McIlroy is utter crap. When taken in isolation it means NOTHING.   Every golfer out there can play the IF game. Isolating it to your sweetheart is obviouly the height of ignorance.
