That's interesting, on one of the Alabama boards the quote read, ""We have received unprecedented interest in tickets for the Cowboys Classic game with Alabama," said UM chief marketing officer Hunter Lochmann in a press release. "The demand is on par or greater than our athletic department has ever seen." CBS's "..at least as strong" sounds pretty weak by comparison. Oh well, I am happy the football gods have smiled on these two glorious programs and put us together in Jerry's Big House to kick-off the season in a big way. As I recall, as rich as the history of these two programs are, we've only met 3 times and Michigan has the lead at 2-1 - haven't met since the 2000 Orange Bowl - I never could bring myself to wear the hat after Michigan beat us. Should be an all out war. I exect my beloved Alabama will be searching for it's new defensive self and be a littles off our game. But I expect Michigan to bring a NCG level of intensity. Roll Tide and Go Blue! See you in Dallas!

and rightly so, Michigan will come to play. You never know how things will end
up until they play the game on the field. Georgia Southern had 319 yds rushing
against Bama this year and nobody in their right mind would have thought that
possible??? Hope it's a great game!

Believing everything you see on the internet is a bad habit to start. I hope you dont believe in the Easter Bunny and Santa Claus too. I can show you plenty of pictures of both and even sites devoted to tracking them, but does that make them real....according to you it does if you believe everything you see in a picture or read on the internet. Two things here, look at the names and then look at the current roster for seniors who are no longer there, or players who have declared for the draft. You will find all of them on the lists, which means they are no longer a part of Alabama football.  Fail on all parts, but that should be par for the course for an Auburn fan.

I dont understand how Pictures are not enough for Bama fans to believe what happened.  What do you need, a notary, two of your friends and your grandma as a witness? 

Yeah I see a picture of Bama players that are no longer are on the team signing autographs. Next year some will get paid money in the NFL. Is that also a violation? The guy who runs that website is a known Bama hater and is always trying stir up something.

Could it be that it's already been looked into and nothing shady was found? No, that couldn't be it. Bama HAS to be cheating. They just have to. These photos have been circulating now for two years. If there was something to it, it would have already been reported and uncovered. It hasn't and as a Bama fan I'm not going to worry about something that is more than two years old with nary a sniff from the NCAA. It's old news but you can keep beating that horse if it makes you feel better.

Well good correction, I was wrong to assume a Bama player graduated.  So Bama did their own "invesigation" and found nothing wrong.  But it is break the rules just to be in the store signing things for people.  It does not matter if they were paid or not.  The pictures show exactly that, they were in the store signing things for patrons.  The NCAA relies on self reporting for many things.  The NCAA did not investigate the Buckeye problems until tOSU self reported them.  Guess Bama had nothing to self report, just another day in the SEC.

So you like pictures do you and think they are all very telling as to what is going on and proof positive that something is exactly as you see it. More do than you care to believe and some actually come back when their careers in the NFL are over to finish if they dont get it the first time. Once a player is done with school as is the case with all the players in those pictures, they are no longer part of the NCAA rules you so love to misquote. All of those players have either graduated, or are declared for the NFL, so no eligiblity is left and thus, not a part of the team or the NCAA. So signing any autographs for money or to help out a past booster of the program is up to them and totally legal.

Exactly right, which is why you dont hear anything being made of it, because there is nothing to make of it. Just because Tressell lied and made the entire affair more than it should have ever been is no reason to look for a skeleton in any one elses closet. Bama is doing their part to make sure they are legal under the rules of the NCAA, maybe you should worry more about tOSU and less about any other team. Seems like your demons from the past came to roost when all we heard was Mr. Integrity ran a clean program and would never lie....guess who got the wool pulled over their eyes? Now the Big 10 is known for some dirty programs and a pedophile scandal to boot, so it looks like maybe you need to sweep up around your neck of the woods and let the SEC handle their affairs without your "jump to conclusions at the drop of a picture" nose in it.

Signing Autographs in a store is NOT against the rules, unless they are being compensated for it, or the items are being sold. If you say it is then every player that has ever signed an autograph for a fan in ANY store is in violation of the rules. I'm sure stores can't set up Autogrpah lines and advertise it, but that's not what is happening here, and the pictures show of no such actions.

The pictures prove one thing....TR signed an autograph. Nothing more.

Do I think the guy at the suit store tried to pull a fast one..very good chance, but the pictures do not show or prove that either.
