Further Proof of Joepa's Innocence

You won't see the main-street media because it's a non story.
Perhaps you meant main stream.
This is just another cult article in the closeted local Penn State newspaper,
preaching to the choir.
The district judge chooses words carefully to try to present a convincing argument
by using ambiguity.
The paragraphs the judge uses to praise himself earns him no credibility, however
that he shoveled the sidewalk proves thhat there was too much "closeness" there
and that we need to read between the lines.
Prestia says, "That's not my experience." Well that's like saying nothing at all or
I don't want to or won't talk about it.
He goes on to say, "asked me to cover up." Of course not. A coach would not ask a
judge to cover something up.
Then the statement follows, "O.K. I'll tell Joe"
So Joe is notified and there is no need to request that something be covered up
Joe says, "I'll take care of it" Hint-taking of it. Is that not covering up?
The good judge goes on to say, "no coaches or administrators called to ask favors" Never once.
Of course not, scratching each others back is done indirectly with the wink of an eye.
" If Joe was trying to protect or cover up why didn't I hear anything." Making a statement
like that shouts, "THIS IS A COVERUP."
Do a little research about all of the player arrests that never were reported to the public.
How did the arrests stay out of the papers?
And maybe you are forgetting that  for at least 15 years children were being sexually molested by
a Penn State coach( Sandusky was a coach). And the public mysteriously never heard about it.

Further Proof of Joepa's Innocence

What, exactly, is Joe Paterno innocent of?

Because, understand that in answering that question you have to involve the words 'Penn State' in it. Then you're going to have to find a way to extricate the name Joe Paterno from Penn State; a man whose entire adult life was devoted to that instution, and in whose locker room was ground zero for (metaphorical) a detonation.

Good luck with that. Or better yet, just stop.

We're all sorry this happened. But there isn't anyway that Paterno isn't implicit in this entire, sordid affair.

wareagle.

Guilty because he expected given the chain of commsnd , those he reported to would do their jobs!

Guilty because  the public took the immediate info and made their decision based on opinion and not facts. ( NO NOT ALL FACTS REGARDING THE INVESTIGATION ARE OUT)

Guilty of  everything  including the  act itself if you ask Joe Public.

Let us move on . Not one of us is going to change their opinion. It will be played out and then you can come back and beat that dead horse.

We have proof of sexual molestations from 1984-1999?  I thought we only had reports from 98 on (Though I have my doubts.  There is a good chance that this was already occurring when he founded the Second Mile charity in 1977)... Sandusky "retired" after the board told JoePa that he was not allowed to fire the "coach in waiting".  After his retirement it was that same board that allowed him campus privilages including an office, Joe Paterno was not involved in these decisions.

It is incorrect statements like the one above that we penn staters are trying to correct for everyone who is just repeating what the media states.  That in no way should be seen as support for the p.o.s. that performed these horrible acts.

Bfapsu, are you not reading something that was not written?
If you are going back to 1984, then you know more than the general public,
however, it is probable that it does go back to at least '84, the future will tell.
The 1998 man-child perversion is the earliest incident that most of us are aware of.
So the 15 years that were mentioned in the post to which you referring began in 1998.
In 1998 sandusky was an active Penn State coach.
If one retires, or is fired, or chooses another lifestlye, for the rest of their lives they
will still be associated to the institution.
When Sandusky was still cruising the Penn State campus as recently as early November 2011,
when many people saw him or talked to him they respectfully called him, "coach."
He was a highly respected and well loved coach, and if the name Coach Sandusky ever came
up in conversation, it was always Penn State Coach Sandusky and and will always be
Penn State Coach Sandusky.
If Coach Sandusky moved away from PSU after the '99 season and carried on his dirty deeds,
lets say for the sake of argument all on the west coast, then we might not be having this conversation.
That's about as plainly as it can be explained.
