um... Didnt the Giants play the Steelers in 08? Yeah, i think we did.

Let me just give a quick run down of the stats, i just happen to have em on meWink

 Lets see interesting, interesting,

 Manning

 comp- 19/32

 199 yrds

 1 TD

0 int, not very interesting considering its a run team first especially back then...

 But wait theres more!!!Sealed

 Roethlisberger

 comp-13/29

 189 yrds

 1 TD

4 interceptions  WOWZAA!!! DID I SAY 4 lol Surprised

So Eli threw completed the throw 6 more times then Big Ben, with only 3 more passes and no interceptions!!

And the Gmen won at the Steelers home, and Big Ben is better then Eli how ?  (JUST SAYING!!)

Dont get me wrong, love the Steelers, love any team where defense comes first, and any team that despises the Patriots and Brady fans as much as me.

I dont know what got in me,but i had to get those stats out, made me feel better.

And as much as i hate the Jets, (its more of a love hate, the lil brother syndrome)oops sorry jets fans youll always be our lil bros lol.

As i was saying i just wish the Jets would learn something from the Giants and Steelers, attack the QB take away his weapons and only send in 4 not the whole dam team with those stupid blitzes.

Own the dam Patriots  for a change.

But other then that, i feel good, and cant wait till next yr,cause we have a monster of a schedule to put up with.

Im so sick and tired of these premadonna qbs, that look like gods in their weak schedules.(Tom Brady)Air shows are for Arena football, Defense is for the NFL!!!

Clark!, Clark?, Clark!...you're letting me down brother. I knew Rothy was going to be good when he was at Miami Ohio in that last bowl game he played and no matter what the other team did to take the lead he just kept coming right back and leading his team down the field, pass after pass, scoring touchdowns. Man, he reminded me of Joe "Cool"--starting out deep in his own territory and calming just excecuting down the field and into the endzone. I think he threw six TDs in that game, and, of course, the game-winning touchdown practically going the distance with little time left. He is very good, but I think "CHARACTER" must have something to do in making a selection between Eli and Ben. Especially since the overall comparison is very tight; and it is. I just can't get past all those previous complaints from the opposite sex and his role ("CHARACTER") regarding same. ELI should and is always a "HEAD" above Roethlisberger if you take all aspects of game-play as well as fore-play into account. Live well and safe journey.

So Tikis-Proctologist, you base your opinion of a QB based on one game of play? Hmmm, good idea, I'll base my opinion of Eli based on 1 game as well, this game : page/BAL">Ravens#tab=recap&analyze=boxscore">http://www.nfl.com/gamecenter/20041

Eli is a 0.0 Passer Rating QB! Smile
-'
Chee, Ben has NEVER been a 0.0 Passer Rating QB, but he has had 3 perfect Passer Ratings, to Eli's 1. One that he left at halftime so he wouldn't screw up his only chance of having a perfect game - lame.

No Sol....I'm merely citing 1 of the 2 times that the Steelers have faced the Giants in the last 8 years....Pig Ben won the game in 2004 when he and Eli were both rookies, but Eli won the game in 2008 when they were both considered "veterans".  I'm just saying that you seem to hold Pig Ben so head and shoulders above Eli, yet Eli and the Giants smacked the crap out of him last time they played....just saying.

I'm sorry, I just want to make sure I have this right, you believe that Eli was playing against Ben on defense and vice versa? You are talking about the game where they both only threw 1 TD, and I guess you are saying Eli intercepted Ben 4 times, right?
-
How did they do against a common defensive opponent would be more telling.
-
Teams both Ben and Eli faced that year - Cinci Cleve Balt Philly Dallas Wash

-
So, although Eli threw for 305 more yards, it took him 62 more attempts and a full game more to do it in. Eli threw 3 more TDs, but 6 more INTs, and although he had a 1% greater completion % and a 0.3% better TD%, he was lower in YPA and Passer Rating and had almost TWICE the INT% as Ben.
-
I'd say as usual, Ben exceeded Eli statistically vs common foes, (and in wins)

Eli is the better QB.. again Charlie Batch? leftwich? Dennis Dixon? you could be any QB under center in pittsburg and they will win alot more than they lose.. he's a product of the system..

No genius....as usual, you've got it WRONG...again.....My point is simply this:  Eli and the Giants beat Pig Ben last time they played and quite convincingly I might add...the Giants D int'd Rapistberger 4 times and sacked him 5 times. Eli on the other handed outplayed Ben if you're referring to STATS as you so like to do.

Had enough schooling?
I've had enough schooling since I finished grad school back in 2003, chief....you're certainly no EDUCATOR believe me.  Like I said before.....when the Giants play the Steelers next season, we'll see who's better then...end of story.....for now, you can just sit there and wallow in the fact that Pig Ben and the Steelers got beat by Tim friggin' Tebow this year in the playoffs.

Seems to me, YOU are the one who is lacking in genius as evidenced by your lack of ability to understand blatant sarcasm. Since Qbs don't face each other directly, what I provided shows Ben > Eli that year (as well as just about every other) much better than your mythical direct head to head matchup.

Apparently not, you missed the obvious even to Terri Schiavo sarcasm, are too confused to think QBs facing each other is a better comparison of ability than vs common opponents, and have the lack of insight to appreciate my awesome analysis. You desperately need schooling.

BTW, your Tebow cracks don't bother me in the slightest bit, but they seem to amuse you. Carry on.

No your sarcasm was well understood....the majority of your posts are sarcastic especially when comparing your posterboy Pig Ben to other qbs in this league........

As for head to head matchups, you got one coming up in several months...we'll see how they play.

Ok...how's this comparison...the Giants had a tougher schedule than the Steelers yet they went to the playoffs and WON THE SB....Eli Manning carried his team for most of the year against a gauntlet of strong teams, especially in the playoffs, and WON the SB MVP......the Steelers LOST to Tim Tebow and the Broncos against all odds.  The Giants BEAT all the top tier teams in the NFC, except the Saints, and WON the SB.

BTW, your Tebow cracks don't bother me in the slightest bit, but they seem to amuse you. Carry on.
I surely will....watching Tebow beat the Steelers really was quite amusing.
