@twocoach - Maybe you can rub their feet next time they come in town so they don't kick you off to the WAC when they move. I can promise you Texas does not give two s*#@* about Kansas, but they will let you rub their feet and buy their dinner. Basketball to Texas is something to do until High School Football season starts... Your guys' loyalty is going to get you in trouble, mark my words...
KU has several tough games left on the road, Mizzou (outside of Kansas) does not...they should easily run the table and have a good shot at a tie for the conference championship
You'd like to think that wouldn't you? Pomeroy;s projections of all games left for KU and MU.
Apples to apples, KU has 0 games left they wont be HEAVY favorites in. Their toughest remaining game is @ KState. Moo's toughest remaining game is @ Kansas (funny how Moo isn't our toughest remaining game).
@alec, I'll take these percentages any day. Besides, there was a movie not long ago about football called "any given sunday." This phrase also applies to basketball. Heck, you know as well as anyone on this board that anything can happen. We've seen a lot of mid-majors beat a major D1 school when there is no way the major D1 should lose. There is no coasting to the end for either team. As a college basketballl fan (yes my favorite is MIZZOU) I anticipate a great race to the end and wish both good luck.

It will be a tight battle to the end. EVERY game matters now. Players are going to start feeling the spotlight shining a little brighter on them at this point in the season. IT will be very interesting to see how each of the top teams performs under the pressure and how the next tier of teams looking to battle their way into a solid at-large position will respond.
Kansas State has a four game stretch of vs. Kansas, @Baylor, @Mizzou and vs. Iowa State. They will either be an NCAA team or an NIT team after that run and will desperately need at least one or two wins in that stretch to feel comfortable on Selection Sunday. Iowa State still has 2 games against Baylor, a game against Mizzou and a game against K-State. Baylro follows their beatdown from Kansas with @Mizzou, vs. Iowa State, vs. K-State and @Texas. No easy stretch. They could be in serious trouble if they don't rebound from Wednesday's game.
Tigers are good this year. Jayhawks are also good this year, better than many expected (also like the Tigers). But having to come back to win by 3 at home and winning only 2 out of the last 12 meetings doesn't really seem like reason to brag or post all over KU boards.
Its alot like last year when K-State beat KU at home for only the second time since Bramlage was opened in 1988, I believe. Its a big win for the other school because KU has been so dominate, that simple.
I hope KU and Mizzou win out until they meet again in Lawrence. It will be a great game, and might be just the second of three (or hell maybe even 4) meetings between the two this season.
