Statements that don't make sense:

Yes, you guys tried your hardest to clutch, grab, and hold in your own zone, to no avail. I guess when all the bullying goon tactics are negated, talent and skill take over and show who the better team is.

The fact is Milan, the Bruins are a mediocre group of players who's only strategy is to try and intimidate opponents. If that doesn't happen, you guys lose most of the time. The fact is, you guys were just a mediocre team up to last year, had a good, not great regular season last year, were lucky to get by the Canadiens in the 1st round, and yes, you did win the Cup.

So make excuses Milan, on why you got dismantled last night by a team you apprently felt didn't deserve to be in the same rink with such an elite squad as the Bruins. You know, a team that has pretty much owned the Bruins since the lockout, with a 28-15 record. A Sabres team that not only is more skilled and talented, but has a guy in Kaleta that gets in your heads.

The Sabres are a better team than the Bruins even though they have 16 fewer points, dropped their first two games to the B's earlier this year, and lost to them in the playoffs just two years ago.

I agree with you Mattymcgee55 that the Bruins will either be No. 1 or No. 2 seed. They are in a slump right now and every team goes through that at some point of the year. Now, it is the Bruins. They may get out of their funk next week. Yes, Buffalo was ready and handled their own business on the ice and played hockey. Boston looks like they came from other planet. Come on, Go Bruins!

And that's the reason not to be too concerned.   If they were losing a bunch of games after leading or tied late, I would be more concerned.   When a team loses 6-0, you can pretty much ignore it unless it happens a few times.   Not much to read into the loss imo.
Lucic better put that stick down though.   One of these days he's going to make a foolish move with his stick that will be interpretted as far worse than it really is and he'll end up costing his team for it.    He needs to be more careful, once he gets a label attached to him, it will follow him the rest of his career, and he's almost there.

Always an entertaining thread after a Buffalo win!

Kind of surprised Chara's intereference penalty is not getting more discussion. I thought that hit was really dirty. Chara got mad because I think Kaleta or some Buffalo player hit him, then tracks the player down and levels him even though he doesn't play the puck, look targeted to me and obviously since Buffalo seems to be made up of a bunch of women, no one goes after him? Granted, he is a beast and will most likely beat down anyone that attempts to throw with him, you should still go after him, take the beating like a man and make it known you will not tolerate that type of play against your team. Of course, this is the same team that let the leagues best goalie get run over without any recourse.

Buffalo managed to get under the B's skin. If you bully back with this club they seem to loose their momentum

Sorry to say Habsfan but what happened a few months ago when the Habs tried to  fake penalties and attempt to fight with the B's and lo' & behold, it was circus time  and each candien player that did fight got beaten
