We've GOT to retain Grimes, Lofton & Abe even tho they didn't mention Harry Douglas, he's Matty's reliable target in the slot! HE needs to stay as well!!

I hope so too.  I actually heard a rumor a week or so ago, don't remember where I heard it though, that there is a possibility the Giants will let Manningham walk and sign Steve Smith back for less money.  I really hope this isn't true, Steve Smith is a traitor and I don't want him anywhere near the Giants, dish out the money and keep Manningham!

How the hell can you rank Ray Rice as the 11th best free agent? That is just stupid. He is a top 5 free agent easy.

There is a LOT of good players on this list, about half of which will stay where they are. Should be a busy offseason.

The two biggest potential steals are Carr and Mincey. The two biggest and potentially detrimental guys on this list are Bowe and Finely. Speaking as a Packers fan, the M.O. of Finley's career thus far has been "breaking your heart".

Now that the Giants lost their top 2 TEs in the superbowl, I am praying they go after Finley......but I am guessing he is going to be staying right where he is....

Finley would probably boost the Giants to be one of the favorites next year. Adding another weapon for Eli would take him to Brees or Rodgers status. But...as we saw this year, being favored doesn't get you the ring.

I would not be surprised if the Packers let Finley go and instead spend some money on Defense. They actually have some depth at TE and obviously need some players on D. Finley was a big disappointment this year with many drops that would have converted 3rd downs or would have been TD's. Not that I don't like him but GB needs to address some other areas.

Oh, yes, I don't miss him anymore. By the way, what did he really make for his new team mates in Philadelphia? Nothing that I can remember.

You may have already been told this, but Wes Welker will turn 31 May 1, not June. New England would be crazy to let him go and the fans would be irate.

The Packers won't get rid of Finley...yea he's had some bad drops and injury problems. But he's young and the Packers Orginazation know how talented and hard working he is. They want him back just as much as he wants to be back catching passes from Rodgers. He is the best WR on the team(most talented) and yes I realize his 'position' is TE

Finleys agent will demand way more than what he is proven he is worth. The media has hyped this guy since his first 2-3 decent games. I think the Pack let him walk. Some team will over pay for him. Arizona she pick him up is they can get him for a decent rate. Heap is about that anymore. A few good games and then an injured Heap.

Hmmm....Ben Grubbs would be good in black and gold. And they could stick it to the Ravens as well.

Hate to break it to you Giants fans but don't get your hope up on getting finley...news on the radio over here says that if the Packers can't get a deal done with him this offseason they're slapping him with the franchise tag...but if you want u can always trade us for him and give us JPP lol jk congrats on the SB btw.

I'm not going to criticize the list, just offer my own observations.

- I'm surprised a young, tough inside runner like Marshawn Lynch is so far down the list.
- I cringe when I see any 4-3 end "can easily shift" to 3-4 outside linebacker.  Instinctively, it sounds like an easy move, but there have been a number of guys who have failed in the new position.  And at Mathis' age, it's a lot to expect.
- Free agent wide receivers scare the hell out of me for one of the reasons Prisco touched on - can they be successful in other systems?  Guys like Moss could because they were only going to do one thing anyway.  Ask a multi-faceted receiver to excel in a new system, and pay him like he's going to?  A long list of shocking failures there.

pimpslapped1 is right - a LOT of good players on this list.
