Top 50 free agents: Former top pick Williams is...

February 12, 2012 9:38 pm

all i know is the bears had better make a run at nicks and welker.i like several w.r. on list, but welker would be great fit for cutler .he likes to throw slant passes and quick hitters anyway.the bears are close, remember they were 7-3 with week schedule before the injuries.

JERRY RICHARDSON.....if you are reading this go out, spend some money and pick up BRANDON CARR or TRACY PORTER. Solidfy your secondary through free agency and take a defensive lineman in the draft......

Top 50 free agents: Former top pick Williams is...

Looking at the free agents available this year, it's time that the Bucs either step up or the Glazer's kids need to sell the Bucs so that they can concentrate on their image in England (over the past few years, the image in England has been the top priority to Malcolm's short-bus riding kids - the "youngry" movement & giving away their biggest home game across the pond while 5 games are blackedout???  Come on!!!)

The Bucs badly need someone that can stretch the field & the rumors say that Justin Blackmon will be off the board before their pick rolls around in the draft.  Winslow's is solid, but his best years are behind him & Mike Williams is always doubled.  The D giving up showed everyone past week 6 that the Bucs can't play without a lead.

The Bucs are so far below the salary cap that it's sad.  Glazer kids: Get your heads out of your tails & get some depth @ WR.  I'd be dancing in the street if the picked up just one of the following: DeSean Jackson, Vincent Jackson, Dwayne Bowe, Steve Johnson, or Pierre Garcon (Wes Welker, Marques Colston, & Reggie Wayne aren't really great investments for long contracts - but heck, I'd take them).

Time for the Glazers to get some cojonies & show your fans that you are still serious about having a NFL team in Tampa. (also cut Gerald McCoy - how is that scrub worth $63 million?)

Check out this list. Do you think Prisco likes passing? I think he needs to start only reporting on the Arena League. It's people like him that want to ruin the NFL.

Ray Rice is too low on this list. He's the number 1, but I suppose since it's a lock that he returns to the Ravens it's no big deal.

I don't question what columnists, especially from CBS write often, but I just gotta say. I think Stevie Johnson needs to prove he can hold onto the ball when it counts before he cracks any top 50 list. Great potential if he could just back his mouth up when it counts. We'll see

Bengals need to bring back Reggie. Had Pro Bowl #'s, I don't if he did supposedly struggle in coverage, something I never saw...

That top 50 list is all jacked up. Stupid Prisco says, "You won't see any players that will get a franchise tag, duhhhhhhhhh", then he puts up DeSean Jackson at #5 who ALREADY HAS a franchise tag. The stupidity doesn't end there: then, he suggests that Matt Forte is not likely to be a free agent, but Ray Rice is. Now that's stupid! Ray Rice is going to be in Baltimore and WE ALL KNOW IT. Chicago on the other hand, is showing no appreciation OR a desire to PAY Forte. Does Pete really think that Mario Williams will be the highest-paid defensive player in the NFL? Red Bryant at #10? O-V-E-R-R-A-T-E-D. And let's not get TOO possessed over a player's age, OK Petey?

Where is Michael Bush on this list? He was a stud for the Raiders when McFadden went down. I would take Bush over Lynch.

Then drink another beer and read the article prior to the list and you will know why Brees is not on the list. Some people need to be led to water before they drink it! Reading, what is that?

If I'm the Eagles I would sign Tyvon Branch. They need a big time safety. I think this guy is it. Then draft a linebacker or go after Stephen Tulloch. They missed out on him last year. as far as I'm concerned they are team that has to win now. They aren't built for the long haul .
