Remember when the answer was the Chargers, because they also got Shawne Merriman and Nate Kaeding?

The Falcons used the 90th overall pick to draft Matt Schaub - whom they later traded for 2 second round picks - which ended up being Sam Baker and Tony Gonzalez

.....or they could have kept him, seeing as how Ron Mexico went to jail and Matt Ryan is Chad Pennington.....

I think it is pretty obvious.....Big Ben!! ESPN made a poll as well with Ben have 69% of the votes while Eli had 24%. Rivers had 3% and the rest was too close to call.

Since it seems to be between Ben and Jughead, know this:
-
Passer Rating? Ben is better.
-
YPA? Ben is better.
-
Passing yards/game? Ben is better.
-
TD%? Ben is better.
-
INT%? Ben is better.
-
Completion % ? Ben is better
-
Number of passes 20+? Ben is better
-
Number of passes 40+? Ben is better
-
yards given up/sack? Ben is better
-
-
And all of those with Eli having had 608 MORE attempts than Ben.

I went with Eli Manning.  And I shouldn't have because of the snub.  I used to freakin hate the guy, but now, I have to give him props.  I know he has the same amount of rings that Ben Roethlisberger does and that Big Ben has been to 3 SuperBowls (2-1) and Eli has been to 2 (and won both), but I have to put him just ahead.
Ranking them in order 1. Eli 2. Ben 3. Rivers 4. Schaub and after that I really don't have an opinion, although I love the name Jeff Smoker.

Phil has to get one or I am going to lose it.  Maybe I will not disappear like irregardless, but I will def go off the deep end if it doesnt happen in the next 3 or 4 seasons.  The countdown has begun - 1,457 days until Boltfan goes "off the reservation" if the Chargers have not won a SB.  Book it.

The most important statistic of all is regular season superstar-ness

Philip Rivers is better than Matt Schaub is better than Ben Roethlisberger

I love the guy on the "four letter" network yesterday saying that neither Eli or Big Ben would ever sniff another SB.  Not win another SB - not even get there!  Some people must just get paid to stir the pot because there is absolutely no basis for making that statement.
I tell you what we need to settle this - SuperBowl 47 - NY Giants vs Pittsburgh Steelers!  That will settle the debate once and for all.  I can wait another season or two for the Bolts to get their shot.  I want to see THAT game.

In order to move up and draft J.P. Losman, the Bills traded their second round pick and their following years 1st round pick to the Cowboys.  The Cowboys used those draft picks to select Julius Jones and Marcus Spears

There were no winners in that trade

That goes without saying, Rivers has won the last 8 consecutive Regular Season Superstar Bowls Statfests, eli and Ben have only won unimportant post season Super Bowls.

A Chargers fan rooting for a Super Bowl matchup because the qbs involved. I believe he has come to the realization that Rivers isn't good enough to play with the big boys on the big stage.
