Wait a minute.....the NCAA DOES have rules that ALL conferences must follow. The Big10 chose to add their own rules. You can not make up rules for your own conference then cry(not sying you are..the Conference is) that the rules all need to be the same for everyone. They were and are the same for eveyone, the Big10 CHOSE to be different, and that's all fine and dandy, until you they start crying about other conferences, especially the SEC, having a competitive advantage becuase of the ruels....


I agree.  However I do think the reason the B10 did what they did was to protect the kids.  So even without the competitive advantage the NCAA should protect the kids first. 

This discussion was started when there was talk of the SEC having a competive advantage.  After that discussion, that is where my last reply came from.  The SEC has their advantage and that was the discussion.
