All-Star Rosters Announced

Something seems very wrong with that doesn't it? Start giving moose the touches that Tayshaun gets..i don't care if we gave him 30 million for no good reason.
The Pistons are bringing along Moose at a fine pace if you ask me, his minutes keep increasing as well as his touches. He's only going to get better, the problem in my opinion isn't with Monroe's touches but with the touches of his teammates.

You bring up Tayshaun Prince, well from what I've seen Greg Monroe is the only Piston that doesn't defer to Prince. Prince shouldn't be their go-to player, it's not Prince's fault, it's just we're a young team and other players need to step up. Gordon and Stuckey need to take the lead role as scorers for this team and not defer to Prince. Prince is still a very good player, but his value is best served being anywhere from the #3-#5 man for the team.

Hopefully with the growth of Brandon Knight everything else will fall into pace, I have a lot of optimism with the Pistons, always have, we have talent right now to make a run at a playoff spot just need to build some chemistry and flow on both sides of the ball. The shortened training camp and limited practice hurt this team as we're young, new coach, new owner so it's going to take time but one thing is for sure the guys are playing hard and showing improvement. Big step forward from last year thus far.

I have a lot of optimism with the Pistons, always have,
I have a lot of optimism for Brandon Knight, Greg Monroe and Jerebko. I would've had a heckuva lot more optimism if Dumars would've amnestied Charlie V and didn't re-sign Tayshaun Prince and we had a decent amount of money next year. Gordon, even though we far far overpaid for him, is at least a useful 6th man. The Prince signing really put me over the edge. Especially after his attitude from last year. There is just no use for him..he'd be far better served being the final piece to a team that needed him.

To be honest Stuckey's attitude was worse than Prince's, Prince wasn't over the top in my opinion just was showing his built up frustration, not an excuse. Me personally I still love Prince, what he brings to the table. I don't like the idea of just letting quality players go.

Charlie Villanueva on the other hand well yeah they should amnesty him and frankly I believe they will but they are waiting to see how he comes back from his injury and what kind of production he can have under this new staff. If he produces I'm sure they would explore a trade if not they will most likely amnesty him. It's easy for us fans to say amnesty this guy, trade this guy, get rid of that guy, however the Owner is the one paying millions of dollars and I'm sure he does't want to just hand CV a check to leave the team, he wants to see if he has any value as of right now there's no incentive to amnestying CV as we won't be looking to sign any mid-season veterans that get cut or bought out. Actually if we explore a trade in which we're taking back contracts that would be a case where we could see use of the amnesty but we'll see...

I understand that having Prince limits playing time/growth of other players only in the short term though, in the long term he's the type of player they can build chemistry with and get a better as a team. I don't believe Daye or Jonas are starters at this point in their careers and both have had their shots even with Prince on the roster. Daye is just trying to be a SG when he's 6'11'', sloppy ballhandling, passing, just aint getting it done. He has loads of potential he just needs to put on some weight and learn how to play to his size. I love Jonas Jerebko, he's being miss used though, I actually believe he's a better asset at SF but we do lack size and bigs so he has to play the 4. I do prefer him coming off the bench which so far is looking good for him. Seriously though take Prince off the roster, we're looking at Daye starting and frankly he's just not ready. I don't want to have to rely on Damien Wilkins. Prince is a valuable asset to a team other players just need to step up their game and become leaders on the floor so Prince can get back to his traditional role.

I suppose D-Will's impressive performance vs Lin might have been the key in him getting on the team.
