If Romo thinks Tiger's going to win, Tiger's in trouble. If Tiger wins, watch out, this might be Romo's year in football to be Eli Manning-esque.....lol

Tiger's mojo is changing and that's "bad news"? Look, it's just one round in the 60s. By Sunday he will have hit 2 maybe the next three rounds in the 70s. No, I see Tiger hanging out around no better than -7 for the week. Mark it.

Don't get me wrong, I'd like to see Tiger win 5 more majors, 20 more tourneys, including this one. All he's been through and put himself through and put his family through, to see him do golf "right" could bring people back to at least rooting for him. Come on. You know in 6 years, if he's sitting on major 18, at St. Andrews, the 69th hole, 1 shot lead over Rory (who by then has 4 majors), you know you'll be rooting for Tiger to make his 19th major official.

Tiger is no more interesting to me than hearing "Stairway to Heaven" for the 10,000th time. Real golf fans have reached the point of oversaturation whe it comes to Woods..

Good God! Did all that extra-marital affairs really make el tigre look that old? Dude looks like he'll be a balding rendition of his pops in a couple of years. Not so sure I'd want Tony Romo's endorsement if I was the cheetah. After all; Tony hasn't exactly performed too well in the clutch the last 5 years either.

It's only Friday, and he's 5 back. Give it a rest already. His peers no longer fear mr. Woods they way they use to, and that is a fact. Let me know on Sunday afternoon, until then STFU. I for one am sick to death of the Tiger Woods story, there are many other golfers out there. Maybe Tiger can go and join the European Tour and allow us to watch other people play.

Rowdy, you'd put money on Woods shooting no better than a total of -7 for the week, when he's already -4 on the hardest of the three courses? You might want to re-think that one.

didnt elling just write an article a few weeks back that tiger had lost it and wouldn't make it back after his lose in the desert? which way is the wind blowing today elling? what a joke! for you people that dont think the players are paying attention to what is going on with tigers game... just take some time to listen to "lucky charms" padraig harrington's interview. some great insight into where tiger is and what tour players think of him.

Go Tiger. I'm one of those people the die hards can't stand - I follow and watch much more closely when Tiger is in the thick of it. A year ago it appeared there was no chance he could get back to the top group of golfers. Though it remains to be seen if he's ever the dominant Tiger again (unlikely), at this point it' safe to say he can be among the best.

I thought I was a real golf fan, but apparently not. Love him, hate him, or indifferent towards him, when Tiger Woods is playing well he is great for the game and golf is more interesting to most fans, hardcore or casual.

Ellings is just another syncophant sucking up to Tiger(who is no longer feared after his wife beat him down) and tryuing to export fear to the other younger, stronger, mentally tougher ,less corrupt, less evil and hungrier players
His day is done. He may wion a few more but now he is older , more tired and broken in mistique. These "camp follower" golf pundits should get a different life. This is not the age for heroes with flawed character.

Golf would be nothing without woods playing. Even you loser whiners know that. You can't stop talking and posting about him even when you profess to hate the guy. Yes this means you "clergyjack". loser

Let's be real. Two of the courses play to the same stroke average (1/10th of a stroke difference) and the other is one stroke easier. People make it sound like the course Woods played yesterday was Congressional and the other two are local munis.

awww, steve, you're throwing softballs. what is this? some new year's resolution to be nice to tiger? has he put
you in the will? leave the "nice talk" for guys like jim nance on CBS who just "gush" when they mention tiger's name.
please return some sanity to our benign lives and let's see some real tiger bashing in 2012.
disclaimer: no animals were really threatened in the making of this statement....to all, have a wonderful golf year .
