Very disappointing. terrible possession at 82-80 that could have sealed the game and too many second shots allowed. a minus 15 at the free throw line at home doesnt help..more of the same when we play the lakers.. rondo some horrible decisions when we were up in the 3rd quarter when we could have created some distance...showing why with all of his talent, they are always looking to deal him..this would have been a nice victory, but too many easy baskets off 2nd shots
Not a fan of the Celtics and Lakers by no means. But this was a good game. Shows the type of resiliency they have in Boston, I for one thought that team was done.
O-W-N-E-D.....where is Ch46-Ne10.....Boy oh boy its great to be a Laker fan. Hahaha....hey Boston fans...you might want to try to obtain a big man if you want to be a serious contender...getting out rebounded by 10 on your home court is unacceptable...too bad you got rid of Perkins...he would have been good for at least 10 rebounds. Why doesn't Garnett just retire? The guy is washed up (6-23 from the field.) This Laker fan says keep chucking it up KG....You gotta love beating Boston in the Garden....BEAT LA>>>BEAT LA>>>>>BEAT LA.....NOT!!!!!!!
Kobe misses too much? Did you see the first half? I counted at least 10 passes to wide open team mates and they couldnt make a shot. Fisher 0 for 7? Artest 1 for 7 and how many shots did Gasol and Bynum miss? What game were you watching moron?
Pau Gasol deserves a ton of credit for tonight's Lakers' victory. It's rare in the NBA to see a guy stay with a play like he did on the last missed shot, enabling him to block the put-back. For as often as he gets criticized for being "soft," he showed a lot with that play! It's always a little sweeter to win a game on the Celtics floor!
Heard a Celtic fan few days ago talk about how no one is "scared" of the Lakers anymore. How they have become medicore. Maybe they have but what does that say about the Celdicks?
Only difference is Celtics will be in contention in the East. LA will be gone after 1 round.
Contention for what? Lambs for the Heat/Bulls/76'ers to slaughter. LA is outmatched by nobody in the West. With Kobe/Gasol/Bynum the Lakers have a shot against any squad. A couple of tweeks are on the way before the deadline so let's not write off LA just yet. Good competitive game tonight between two veteran clubs, I'd expect nothing less in a Lakers/Celts match-up. The fact is Kobe/Gasol/Bynum were simply too much for Boston. Boy oh boy it's great .... forget it.
