C. Mike Napoli, Miguel Montero
1. Mark Trumbo, Mitch Moreland
2. Jemile Weeks, Danny Espinosa
3. Aramis Ramirez
SS. Jose Reyes, Erik Aybar
OF. Josh Hamilton, Dexter Fowler, Grady Sizemore, Austin Jackson, Mitch Moreland
SP. Roy Halladay, Feliz Hernandez, David Price, Michael Pineda, Jordan Zimmerman, Johan Santana, Ryan Vogelsong
RP. Mariano Rivera, Ryan Madison, Grant Balfour

I know I am slightly weak at 3rd because I only have one player, but Ramirez is nasty.  Also... What should I do with Johan Santana?

Does anyone expect Johan Santana to actually be a decent pitcher this year?  He could get me some points for innings right?

I should have put B+ on the list because I think that's how my team stacks up....Ooutfield clearly is my strongest point so they should produce for me...Followed by Closer and then SS with Reyes

I gave you a C ... I like your pitching, but, I don't know if this is a points league, or just using combined roto numbers. Offensively, the team is pedestrian... middle of the pack in the power categories ( assuming reasonable ownership in your league ) with decent speed. BAV is always a crap shoot. Also, the potential for quite a few of the offensive players ( going by their track records) to miss significant time is high. Nive team ... if everything went right, yeah, I could see it be a higher grade than I gave it, but hey, I'm a Philadelphia guy ... pessimism is my forte.Sealed

I agree with DJ...even may be go a D.

PItching is good and maybe what carries you.

Offensively, you lack power and tha'ts huge in head to head fantasy league, especailly if it is a points league. Do you have any 30 HR guys on that roster? Maybe Hamilton if he's fully healthy, but that's a big if.

In a roto style leauge that isn't head to head, i'd like it a lot more but head to head is tough.

Yeah the power catergories are a little shaky but you never know.. Stranger things have happened.  But you are right I don't really see too many of these players really having break out years!  Reyes hopefully will!  Will Sizemore?

I dont mind the team because you will have tons of trade bait at pitching, if hamilton is hamilton i think you'll be fine, you will need ot trade at somepoint to improved the bats a little but with the depth you have at pitching i dont see that being a problem

I am not excited about my catching position or firstbase position at all..  So I clearly need an upgrade there.

I'm thinking a solid C, with the possibility of more, IF a lot of things go right.  To that end, you would have to get full, healthy seasons out of Reyes, Hamilton, Sizemore & Santana, which is asking A LOT.  In respect to Santana, and again predicated on health, I would think he would be your # 5 in your rotation, ahead of Zimmermann, and pretty well tied with Vogelsong ( no way he repeates last year ).  If that is the value you are looking for from him, you should do o.k.

As for your 3B issue, remember, the Angels are going to give Trumbo every chance to play there full time this year, so at least you should be looking for him to gain that eligibility, which will be nice.  The only real question marks for me on your squad are Bafour & Jackson.  Balfour, as he is not a closer, and does not give you elite K's, e.r.a, or whip from the set up spot, and Jackson, as he can not seem to hit for power or average, making him a very weak fantasy option in my mind.  To me, he is a much better MLB player than fantasy option, and I myself avoid him like the plague.

You don't like your catchers?  Why?  Besides your starting staff, I see that as your strongest position.  However, I do agree with you on your 1B's.  IMO, as you don't really have to have Moreland as OF depth, I would keep any eye on Kendrys Morales if he is still available, as he would be a great 1B partner with Trumbo, as you can pretty much guarantee, that if Morales is back healthy, that one will be playing everyday, making whom to start on any given day a pretty easy choice.

I don't think they will be able to produce the numbers that I would need them to produce for this position.  I am really hoping I can make a trade and get a good 1stbaseman

Your catchers?  Really?  IMO, there is only 1 guy that pretty much will outproduce either of these guys, and that is Brian McCann.  Some would say Mauer & Posey, but both are coming back from injury issues, so I am less sure of them than McCann.  There is also Alex Avila, who would have to duplicate his career year last year to make him better than your options.

My $ .02 would be to look for upgrades elsewhere.

Does the league use 2C and 3 OF and U   How many sp/rp do u use in a week?

Your biggest need is power and why 2 players at each position?

Without knowing whose available hard to help
Dont know many willing to trade their power hitters away except for a stud pitcher
