According to Liz Mullen of Sports Business Journal, Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski had arthroscopic surgery Friday morning at Massachusetts General Hospital on his injured ankle. Gronkowski's recovery is expected to take 10 weeks.
Gronkowski suffered a high ankle sprain during the AFC championship game and was clearly limited in Sunday's Super Bowl loss to the Giants, finishing with just two catches for 26 yards.
