Mimic You do have to like the looks of those three conferences and the way the future looks with it. I wish we could have the conference battles like they do in college basketball like the ACC/B1G challenge. That would be great to see. Thats just dreaming though. Anyway i do think that the Big 12 isnt that far behind. Once Texas gets their QB situation handled they will be back in the top 25 along with Okl. Then look for teams like OSU, Baylor and maybe TTech to have a couple good years in there. The rest of the conference i cant say i have too much faith in. Now when you think about it Texas and Ok when at their best make that conference soooo much more relevant than like say this past year. Im with most of the people on this thread in sayin that i just want the balance back and USC being off probation is a great start. I think this will be a year that most wont expect when its all said and done. When i say that i mean that this could be the year NO sec team ends up in the NCG. I do see a very good chance of seeing the Trojan Sword leading the fight song at the BCS NC celebration in Jan 2013!!!!!! Of course this is all just my opinion.
Well, the 2012 rankings don't reflect such a "seismic shift". The #1 class is Alabama, and Florida is not far behind. The early results for 2013 is #1 Michigan (congrats) #2 Texas A & M #3 Florida. No news here, except that the big thing is A&M joining the SEC and cleaning house as kids in Texas jump at the chance to play in the #1 conference in America. In fact, I see 3 SEC teams in the top 6-9 in the top 20, counting Texas A &M, 8 without.
