T.O.: "Ravens could have used me"

Wide receiver Terrell Owens says he can still make an impact in the NFL, pointing out that the Ravens were one of the teams that could have used him last season. "The Baltimore Ravens the past two years brought in two guys they thought could get the job done," Owens told the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. "It comes down to crucial catches and they didn’t make those catches. So I am definitely aware of my talents." Owens was referencing the drops by Lee Evans (in this year's AFC championship game) and T.J. Houshmandzadeh (in the 2010 Divisional playoff game at Pittsburgh).

Ravens should have signed T.O.?

Joe Montana would also have been a lot better if the Steelers signed him instead of trading for Neil O'Donnell. Arguing over what could have been is basically pointless.

After how this guy absolutely snubbed the Ravens in '03(?) and how he treated Ozzie Newsome he was talking about going BACK?!  Apparently he's thinking Bischotti and Newsome FORGOT he was actually ON the Ravens roster once before he filed a grievance against the NFL for something his agent botched up.

Wow, I thought he couldn't get any dumber.  Alicia Silverstone ala 1995 has more of a clue than this guy.  He seriously sees nothing outside of himself at all.  I mean, WOW.

Although I do appreciate the three straight years of 80/1200/10...  It's really hard to feel sorry for him due to the fact that most of his suffering is self inflicted.

Does he implode teams from within?

Yes.

Bad move for anyone to sign the guy.

This is an odd situation....he's a future HoFer that can still play but no one wants.

I don't know T.O. I think the Ravens are pretty happy having a jock washer without all the drama.

I really think a team would sign him at his age IF he hadn't been a pain in the butt his entire career

I really think the Bengals should resign Terrell Owens and Chad "Ohcho Cinco" Johnson.Be Jerome Simpson is out because of the drug charges.And you would get them both for half half what you paid for them the last time!

He was just coming off surgery from a torn ACL.  Owens might be a distraction in the locker room, but he's been a stud on the field everywhere he goes.  He averages more than 1000 yards per season and more than 10 TD's per season and currently ranks 2nd on the all-time receiving yardage list behind Jerry Rice.  Given what he would request coming off the surgery, he would probably be worth taking a chance on.  He can't expect more than $1 million per year, so if he can perform like he has historically, he's a steal.

You obviously havn't heard what T.O. and Ocho Cinco were spitting last year. They blamed everyone up stairs for the season they had. They didn't blame it on Palmer and of course not themselves.  They chose Marvin Lewis over Chad. I highly doubt either will be back.

Funny thing is that the Ravens actually gave the 49ers a 2nd round pick for T.O. back in 2003 but Owens camp had the trade rescinded in arbitration so T.O. could play for the Eagles. I find it funny how T.O. is saying now the Ravens could've used him when T.O. blew them off years ago. T.O. had his chance to play for the Ravens. He blew it. That's Karma kicking T.O. in the @ss.

He had his chance to be a Raven, and he disrespected the team and the city because he wanted to play for the Eagles.  Why would the Ravens tale him now that he's irrelevant?

What a GREAT mistake it will be to see the Ravens sign Moss or Owens. A signing like this would absolutely stink like the 2010 Vikings.
An old, beat up team signing whoever they can in order to try and grasp what they could not the year prior.

I am going to enjoy watching the Ravens Flock of Failure crumble.
