How does this happen? How can a guy go from a "nobody" to a star over-night? I'll tell you how - stereotypes that's how. First he's non-black. We all know that unless you're black you can't really compete in basketball right? Fab 5, UK one-and-done, most NBA stars... "You got to be a gansta to be a baller man". Kind of like a black QB can't really play QB. "You've got to be a 6'5" student of the game white dude with a rocket arm who's a pocket passer" to succeed in the NFL. Then there's the Harvard thing. Come on, Harvard doesn't produce NBA players, just Presidents and CEO's. Anybody from Harvard, who's non-black - there's NOOOOO way the dude can compete in the NBA - right? OK, let's bust some stereotypes: Duke, Jerry West, Steve Nash, Pete Maravich, Bill Walton, Larry Bird(should have listed him first), John Stockton, Dirk Nowitzki, Kevin McHale... let's keep going; Warren Moon, Randall Cunningham, Mike Vick, Steve McNair, Donovan McNabb. My point is that stereotypes are keeping more guys like Lin from being NBA stars. Hopefully they will not keep Robert Griffin III from being one in the NFL.
I guarantee when Anthony and Amare come back that all the chemistry that Lin has produced with the team will dissipate.

They seriously need to demote Toney Douglas. The guy is a shooting guard, not a point guard. But Mike DUmb'Toni has a man-crush on Douglas.
2) Jeremy Lin
- Needs to see more playing time
- Last night's game: 4 points, 4 assists, 6 minutes (Knicks assists leaders vs. DET were Shumpert/Carmelo= 6 assists in 25+ mins)
- Can drive to the basket and has great ability to find the open man
- Great passer, has shown evidence of superior passing ability, best of the Knick guards.
