11:38 mark...that pull up by TT was fan-effing-tastic...do that every time instead of risking the freakin' charge.

I am very much over the Connor Teahan experiment at this point. He isn't making wide open 3's as much as he was and should be and that is his only plus. He is too slow, can't guard, isn't strong with the ball, so on and so on. I am not at all about playing younger guys for the sake of development, but when two players are pretty even then the younger player should get the nod. Saying that, I believe Tharpe should be getting some more of Teahans minutes. I actually believe Tharpe can hit open 3's pretty good. Small sample size I know but Tharpe has shown some serious range at times. I am curious what everyone else has to say on this matter.

MrC, I'm having to watch it on my computer which sucks because it jumps and skips around when the feed gets interfered with but it's better than not watching.

I was excited at halftime, but I am pissed at what I have watched in the 2nd half. As good and efficient and unselfish as the first half has been in the 2nd has looked like a selfish unorganized group. I am embarrassed and I don't think it is over reacting either. This 2nd half Kansas team couldn't beat any Big 12 team except Texas Tech. Did I say Embarrassing!

We will win,  but this gives OSU so much confidence for our return game its not even funny.  I would have benched every starter, and played all reserves when it got below 16, and guarantee we would win the game still.  I however see us tired, fouls, and giving at least 19 2nd half points away from the FT line.  Wow, your right EMBARRASSING

Withey and TRob have kept us from giving up the entire lead.  Everyone else,  please exit stage left, and let our reserves play with Trob and Withey.  Get some rest for Monday.  Right now tempted to call the game Monday a loss already because we have had to expend more energy than needed to just win this stinkin game.  OK now I am overreacting, but still you can't finish this way with an all important road game on Monday.  I hope they at least have a good final couple of minutes yet, and then sit the remainder of the game,I HOPE!

The worst 2nd half since we gave up a 19 point lead to ARizona a few years back at home and lost by 20.  Only difference is this wasn't ARizona and we actually won.

Typical to relax some when leading big at the half.  Make that point clear now.  OK done with being nice.

Today was a chance to send a message to OSU and maybe the remaining teams we play at home, that we will crush you.  This now in my opinion makes the Mizz game look winnable if your a Tiger.  IF it was not all already.  This gives A/M some hope as well when we go  there.

Now for positive comments:  WIthey was awesome once again.  TRob was effective and had a decent overall game.  After those two however, i would have seriously thought about not playing the others for the remainder of the game.  I don't think Tharpe, Lindsay, or Juneaman could play any worse.  Wesely or Young with Tharpe and Lindsay with TRob and WIthey.  Just would have told them to pound it down low every possession.

I know I said I wouldn't pound on Teahan any more, but when he performs that badly and looks that out of his league, too bad.  He can't maintain possesion of the ball, hit an open shot, and make good passes.  In my book then you better play defense and thats also a b ig no.  So why does he get to play so much?  Again, don't care if he has experience.  I would rather have have Tharpe learning than having Teahan on the court regardless how many times Tharpe could turnover the ball.

We won, thats the main thing right now.  We won, and OSU is not that bad of a team overall.  I wish like others we looked better.  Still can't say we have put together a complete game yet besides Baylor at home.  STill haven't, means we still can get better overall.  Thats a g ood thing still.

At least the players looked like they lost after the game was over. I have calmed down now and this will be used by Bill Self to show the players that they can be as good as any team in the country but if they don't play with energy and focus, they can be beat by any team in the country. I almost think it's better going into Manhattan this way than if they would have won by 40. This has the feel of a loss without being a loss.

Yeah, I have simmered down and still think we are the frontrunner for the title, but Wow, I didn't know having an almost 30 point lead would be that bad of a thing.

Its funny, because we have seen this team do this before, b ut just not with a 29 point cushion.  Usually its at the start of most games we see this lackluster effort and one on one ball come out the most.

I can live with this game because it was over early.  The players knew it, the opponent knew, and the fans knew it.  This was a game that after halftime was for fun and giggles.  They lost focus, they lost energy.  The fans lost energy.  It was a ho hum game after the first half of the first half.  We don't have enough bench players to get there shot and get refocused so they could showcase  there  talent some.  In years past, we would have had numbers 8,9,10 off the bench in most of the game in spurts and they would bring that needed energy.  This year we don't have that.

Young looked good in the 1st half.  He didn't look any worse than the restof the team in the 2nd.  He is making strides right now.  Teahan, well I can't say alot good for him so I will move on past him.  Tharpe didn't do anything great, but he didn't do anything completely wrong either.  Wesely, was a non factor.

Withey was huge once again and thats great going to the Octagon on Big Monday.  Nobody in this league really has an answer for him and TRob both.  They can shut one down for a while,  but can't do both.  TT had some good moments today and I won't even mention  the bad ones.  EJ I will make comment later on this post.  Releford at least had some production and was decent on D.

EJ hit some nice 3's today early.  Late, he in my opinion looked completely lost.  Almost as if his body was in AFH, but his mind was in Vegas.  I don't know if I have seen him look any worse.  He stands out as having a horrible 2nd half, even worse than the rest of the team.  Mostly because his mistakes tripled in effect.  Bad passes, air balls, and complete loss of control with the ball.  I don't know whats going on with him.  We can't go very far if he doesn't have some positive play.  Like I said, his first half was ok if not above average for him.  I don't know if our whole team drank some funny juice and EJ had 2nd's or if he just shut the lights off early than the rest did.

OSU is not a terrible team.  They do have some atheletes that can jump and shoot and rebound.  They don't have enough size to compete, but they do scrap some.  I expect to get there best shot on the visit to Gall. Iba arena.

In a way, my 11 year old said and I quote" This game is almost too easy for KU".  He said that half way through the first half when we started blitzing the Pokes.  Things were  to easy, and we did relax enough thinking they were done.  Hey the closest they got was 12 points, its not like they got to within 6.  We always controlled the game.  If not for some absolutely ridiculous fouls and foul calls they wouldn't have even got back into the game.  What they have something like 23 second half points from the FT line and not even 12 made shots or something like that.  I looked once, but now can't remember.

22 made FT's and i think 10 made baskets for OSU in the second half.  Like I said some fouls were right on, some were play on fouls.  So giving a team that many attempts while the clock is not moving will erase a big lead faster.

Oh, well.
