Rangers continue Philly dominance

Sigh......The Rangers have owned the Flyers this year. The Flyers have not put 3 solid periods together in a single game all year against this team. It is obvious that is what it will take to beat the Rangers. Hard to imagine that they won't meet in the playoffs, so the Flyers need to look for a way to stay focused for an entire game. I think maybe they were able to overlook this team for the past few years but now they are for real. I am definitely tired of watching the Rangers beat the Flyers this year.

Nice waste of money on that goalie who is interested in the universe, too bad you can't even play him in a game like today when a win gets the flyers 2 pts out of first. Then little rats like Rinaldi come out down 3 to give the classy Flyer fans there money's worth. Pathetic.

Love the way this Rangers team has persevered all year long. Just holding my breath that the shoe won't drop, come playoff time. As a Rangers fan, our history tells us that it will.

Filthadelphia sucks, just like in football.

No doubt about it, the Rangers are dominating the Flyers this year. That doesn't bode well for Philly in the playoffs, but if they keep slumping, the playoffs might not be an issue. Is it true that they really are missing Jeff Carter and Mike Richards? Claude Giroux, Wayne Simmonds and Scott Hartnell are the only ones scoring it seems. Do they still have Danny Briere?

Philly's issues are pretty simple: their goaltending sucks. Their team defense sucks, exacerbated by no Pronger, but really people, even if he were healthy, their defense still sucks. Look at how they fare against teams with stellar goaltending and/or team D. They barely compete. It's one thing to score 6 goals against some doormat, but they are just not in the same league as the better teams in the East, let alone the NHL. So naturally they resort to gooning it up. I mean, Sestito? That guy barely deserves to be in the the Quebec Juniors, forget about the pros. Should they make the playoffs, it'll be a quick exit.

Bryz has the flu that is why he couldn't play today. It doesn't matter who the goalie is for the Flyers right now. They're defense down low is pathetic. The Rangers out worked the Flyers and the Flyers just stood around especially on the PK. Bob actually made a couple of nice saves today but the Rangers had too many quality chances. Oh well on to Detroit!

It's been a super week to be a Giants, Rangers and Knicks fan. Between the SB, Lin and the Rangers continuing to play well especially against the Flyers is perfect. I hope the Rangers can keep it going right through the playoffs.

One of the most complete games ive seen them play even with all the good hockey they have been playing this yr,... Easily could have gone into Philly with nothing on the line, and mentally taken the day off.. they played so good,.. Defense absolutley outstanding, great to see our captain get a hat trick and the PP has a pulse! haha... True Outlaw, Championships arnt won in Feb in hockey, so lets hope we keep this up in the playoffs! Hats off to Torts, these guys are playin with such heart and pride.

As a Flyers fan, I've been saying for awhile we are a good second tier team that needs the help like 2010 to avoid bad draws in the playoffs. Otherwise, it will be another playoff appearance without a Cup Appearance or a Win. I agree the Rangers, especially Lundy, are in the Flyers heads. Heck, the Winnipeg Jets have been in the Flyers heads too for awhile. Lundy is the decisive factor that has enabled the Rangers to get the better of us. I am not making excuses about the Flyers defense. Granted, they do not have a full roster. However, they have done well enough to win atleast a couple against the Rangers this year. The far inferior goaltending is the biggest roadblock in solving the Rangers thus far.
