It's been interesting watching Ryan Callahan turn from just a regular crash and bash player, to somebody who is watching plays and making timely decisions. Quite a difference from the last few years to this year.

The Rangers OWN Philly. Philly plays like it's 1975. Then again, that's their last Cup win and will be for another 37 years.
Cups since 1967

Flyers - 2
Rangers - 1

Is it true that they really are missing Jeff Carter and Mike Richards? Claude Giroux, Wayne Simmonds and Scott Hartnell are the only ones scoring it seems. Do they still have Danny Briere?
That wouldn't make much sense considering Briere never played aside Carter or Richards.

Rangers are looking like the team to beat in the east come spring. Balanced attack with Lundqvist between the pipes will make them a tough out in the playoffs. Philly could have used a few more bad calls like the Winter Classic to keep them in this game, since their goaltending is awful. But what else is new!

From what I have seen of "briz" your better off when he has the flu. That's the worst waste of money since the Rangers signed Scott Gomez. Although they did turn him into Ryan McDonough. Maybe the Flyers can ask Briz if in the theme of a fair universe he give back half his contract....

Rangers fans throwing hats on ice at wells fago center priceless. Starting to look like the vet and early years of citizens bank park when mets fans used to take over the stadium now with rangers fans.

Ha, I remember a couple years ago the Penguins had the Flyers number in the regular season and then we beat them in the playoffs. Win all the games in the regular season you want. Playoffs are what matters. The Flyers are slumping a bit right now and I would rather have it this way and then get hot at the end of the season when it matters. The teams that are hot going into the playoffs usually end up winning it all. Congrats to the Rangers who have finally not choked YET. Still plenty of season to go! We will get a defenseman before the deadline and we will be fine. When everybody is healthy we will be fine. Im not really worried about it yet all teams have slumps. The Rangers are due for one. It happens Oh well!. Go Flyers!!!

As has been mentioned before, the Flyers defense and goaltending have just been awful this year. The only way I see the Flyers making a deep run is if they get favorable matchups and if everything goes right for them in the playoffs. Otherwise, it will probably be one and done. With Pronger probably heading toward retirement, Carle most likely pricing himself out of Philly, and Timonen heading into the last year of his contract, the Flyers need to focus this summer on revamping their defense. They're going to need a new no.1 defenseman and a top-4 defenseman. I don't feel that Bryzgalov will carry this terrible goaltending into next season, so if they can strengthen their D, I think he'll be fine. I've always said that defense is more important than goaltending, because other than Lundqvist, Thomas, and Fleury, there isn't really any superstar goaltenders that are consistent enough to carry their team on their back.

The rangers fans are taking over the flyers stadium because 2 people threw hats on the ice? Hahaha yeah ok. Rangers have 1 good year and their fans act like they have been great for the last 10 years.

Hey nova baby your comment on Rangers fans sound similar to what Philips fans started doing in 2007. And at least rangers fans were always loyal and selling out even during 10 year no playoff stretch.

The Rangers are the best team in the NHL.They have the best goalie and they also have given up the least amt of goals. The Red Wings are good but they have no defense and are just 500 on the road.

Guys this Dlopez guy is really the old Brian8ball and Bigbangtheory.  Don't let him get to you.... he's just brutal.

And oh yeah Bri Bri, the Wings don't have any defense?  4th best goals against average in the NHL.

The Flyers sell out every game since i can remember. You can't compare Hockey to Baseball dude. The vet had like 70,00 seats and since the Phillies opened their new ballpark. They pretty much sell out every game give or take a few. How many sellouts do the Mets get?
