I know that we are a good ft shooting team which is why those losses @ LAC and GSW did not bother me much because I know us missing that much fts in a game would not happen much.
The Miami Heat are the 6th best ft shooting team in the league and that was before they shot 26-31 from the line tonight. Won't be surprised if they're a top 5 team in ft shooting come tmr morning.
Well said - I just find it to be an important stat because we seem to knock down our free-throws early and often, but when it comes to crunch time/close games/ crucial/necessary free throws, our best players often become the worse FT shooters - So in my opnion it is a very significant stat. I would actually like to know if anyone keeps track of free throws during a given time in the game because it would be interesting to know how well we do at FTs when the game is on the line versus when it is not... I am sure there is a slight difference in the two, and more than likely not in our favor from what it looks like
